Cochon on 2nd is our favorite restaurant for fine dining/special dinners. The service has always been exceptional and the food quality equally so! It is too bad that they feel it necessary to add an additional 3% for credit card use, but I understand that this is becoming a standard.

Our meal was delicious, the ambience was warm and inviting and the sound level low. Very expensive but we felt the our meal was well worth it. Pleasant wait staff and the service was top notch. Will visit again for sure.

Good food and service. Our table was next to the food prep area so pretty noisy. Really enjoyed the experience.

The moment we stepped in Renee our waitress indulged us in the Cochon experience her sweet and vibrant personality made the whole experience the best !!! Each dish was delectable we had the soft crab shell, grilled oysters, firecracker shrimp, tuna tartare,seared duck, and seared scallops. The dishes were made with love and a very good balance of flavors and texture. The meals were just sooooooo good. I’m a New Yorker and we judge food extremely tough and let me tell you there is space for a Cochon on 5th or anywhere. The whole was truly awesome thanks to Renee and the Cochon Chef I hope to be back soon!

Cochon on 2nd is an excellent spot to have a meal. The food is very well prepared and the service is great. Just wish the prices were a bit more reasonable.

The food is fantastic. Every course was well composed and delicious. Standouts were the gazpacho, Monty’s ribs and tuna and fois gras. The atmosphere is lovely but we were sat on the quieter side and the lighting was very dim. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. A must visit whenever we’re in Williamsburg!
