Everything was excellent! And I don’t say that lightly as it is rare I call something excellent. But it really, truly was. This was our first time to dinner here for NYE pre fix menu. The food was ALL amazing and our server Renee was upbeat, witty, attentive and passionate about the dining choices. I “accidentally” received a second glass of wine (at no charge) but not completely convinced it was an accident - I had mentioned this particular wine was a favorite. What a gem of a place to find in Williamsburg! Such attention to detail on every account- hosts, server assistants, servers, ambience, food. It was also very cool to watch the open kitchen work. It is rare that I enjoy a restaurant experience this much. I will definitely be back my next time to Williamsburg!

We visited for a prefix New Year’s Eve dinner. The food was frankly mediocre, and very costly. We’ve been in the past, but there has been some change in the quality of food at this restaurant. Perhaps it was the overwhelming number of people that were visiting. I would not go back to a another New Year’s Eve celebration at this restaurant.

The salmon was too salty, but everything else was great as expected. The service was not only very good, but exceptionally pleasant.

Our experience couldn't have been better! The spacing was perfect, service was excellent, and the food was even better. It was pricey, but for a New Year's Eve dinner, it was totally worth it. We had a great experience!

Excellent time. Much better than last year- lighting better! Food prep was perfect service was wonderful. Will go again!

It was New Year's Eve and we had a 5:30 reservation. I would have preferred a later time but as it turned out 5:30 was just perfect! by the time we ordered our food and wine, talked, talked some more, had a little wine and then food! well we used up over 2 hours and the food, service, ambience, etc were all top drawer. we like this restaurant, had several meals in the past and will continue to make Cochon on 2nd our first restaurant of choice in the Williamsburg, VA area!! Thank you for a most delightful evening welcoming 2025!

We are regulars at Cochon. Food is always great. Our waitress last night was extremely friendly but not very efficient! She also lost our food we were to take home. We were really looking forward to that filet! Management promised to make it right on our next visit. We shall see.

Excellent as always. Chef being there is always a plus - the team running the floor was attentive as always too. Just perfect. Cocktails were creative and tasty too.!

Nice Christmas Eve dinner which is also my birthday. The Fixed menu options were very good. The service was very good but there was a longer gap between the first and second course; Strange since there were just four second course options. We had three different mains - the rockfish, duck and filet. Each was very good. We appreciate restaurants that allow you to bring your own wine and pay a corkage. This is one of the top three places in Williamsburg for high end but not snobby dining.
