I come here as much as possible! The food is absolutely delicious and service always above and beyond! Today we had Nick as our server and he was delightful - so thoughtful and fun! Always a great experience!

Coastal kitchen is one of our favorite area restaurants. It is always very busy (even mid week) with a higher noise level but the food is fantastic. Last night was no exception- really great food but the service was horrible. We waiting 15 minutes just to get water brought to the table and it really didn’t improve. We will give it another try and hope it was a one off.

We booked through OpenTable and it asked if its birthday etc. I replied 56th Anniversary. As they knew, I expected a little cake as a complimentary dessert, as all restaurants usually do (especially as this is not exactly McDonalds!) On inquiry, I was told 'no' that they would put a candle on a cake, but it would not be complimentary! Quite honestly, I was dismayed by that. After spending over $111 (for 2 of us), to be told that this restaurant did not do this! Why even ask the question when I booked....I don't see the point. Its not that I needed, or really wanted, the little tiny dessert...it was the thought and to know that they wouldn't do this really has upset me. There are other comments I would make for future diners...there is no ambiance, no view at all, (except for a parking lot) and the acoustics are terrible...very very noisy. So what is the point of the whole place? We were debating whether to go there for our celebration lunch or to an alternative lovely place with a view of the ocean which would have cost around the same....and we would probably have received a little, tiny complimentary dessert! Wrong choice. We will not be going again.

We had an amazing lunch at this establishment. Everyone loved their dish. From Salmon Tacos, to Grouper Sandwich to Chicken BLT’s. The food was great, the service amazing, we had a great time!

We love it! We love the servers! They are fabulous! Food is almost always perfect! Last week the salmon was raw inside for the 2nd time. We like it medium rare but not uncooked. Then one person is waiting while the other is eating. You took care of it accordingly, which we appreciate, but don’t understand how it happens if the chef is using a thermometer.

If you sit on the patio, be prepared for very loud traffic noise. Too bad Dana Point doesn’t have laws that prevent this. It really disturbs the pleasure of dining outdoors.

It was our first visit to the resturaunt . Had a reservation for lunch to celebrate a friends birthday. Greeted at the desk with a friendly greeting and big smile. Had a great table inside. White and bright interior with beach ambiance. Greg was our server and was as pleasant and friendly as possible food was excellent. Unfortunately a table of 6 woman were seated next to us and were very loud and obnoxious making our experience disappointing but that seems to be the norm in Orange County with those feeling entitled and not caring for anyone but themselves . Highly suggest the resturaunt . Frank Correia
