                                            Amazing everything I have one year trying to have reservations for afternoon tea but I couldn’t because I live in Barrie but I went yesterday to have dessert with my kids and everything was amazing we will go more often thank you

                                            The setting is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tea is presented in a very visually appealing manner. I would like to see more herbal tea options. Amount of food was quite limited. Some of the combinations were rather unsavory. I am a person who eats almost anything and there were a couple of things I could not stomach. My friends were disappointed with the lack of traditional tea sandwiches such as egg salad or chicken salad. The scones were lovely but there were only two of them and they were tiny. The restaurant contacted me about five times asking me to confirm my reservation which I did. The restaurant contacted me half an hour before our reservation to tell me that our table was ready. They were adamant that we got 90 minutes and no more. Overall I would say I won't go back.

                                            Pleasant experience. The manager reached out to us beforehand to inquire about any allergies or dietary restrictions we may have. We did have some dietary restrictions which they were amazing in accommodating us. Would visit again when we’re in town.

                                            Took my daughter to afternoon tea. We both loved the setting, the tea selections and the food selections minus the fois gras. Everything else was superb!

                                            Wow what an incredible dining experience we had. We were celebrating our five year anniversary and ordered the incredible seafood tower which did not disappoint in beauty nor taste. The wine pairing with the Hinterland Rosé was perfect. Our server Liah was attentive and charming as always!

                                            I love having tea at the Royal York. The staff were not quite as attentive as in March but it was still a great experience. So relaxing and indulgent. I particularly love any of the savouries that contain pate de fois gras, lobster, and/or crab. Altogether a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours.

                                            We had high tea, which I don't recommend. The ambience was gorgeous but we were disappointed with the food. The sandwiches and cakes had little flavour and seemed like they were kept overnight in a freezer and defrosted. For the price you would think at least a glass of sparkling wine would have been included but we had to pay extra.
