                                      My BF and I get afternoon tea together frequently so we tried the afternoon tea set at Clockwork in the Fairmount Royal York this time. The seating was so incredibly comfortable and the atmosphere is very nice. We were very impressed by how delicious everything was and our teapot was CONSTANTLY refilled with more hot water. Never a shortage of tea lol. The service was amazing Everyone serving us was so kind and helpful and our waitress even offered to take pictures for us when the set was delivered. It’s a bit pricy compared to other sets at other hotels, but the atmosphere of the lobby, the quality of the food, and the wonderful team made it worth it to me. Highly recommend (:

                                      Certainly not a harrods experience however good atmosphere, would have liked the opportunity to refill certain items, even if at cost. Would go again.

                                      The High Tea at the Royal York is not longer the opulent and grand presentation it once was . Overpriced for what we received and the food was not up to par. I am so sad :(

                                      The high tea experience was overall very good. The service was excellent and the food was quite nice. The seating is in the open area in front of the check-in counters. Despite it being in essentially the lobby area, the ambience was very pleasant with the beautiful decor of the hotel surrounding this closed off dining area. With kids in our party ranging from age 6 to 13, the service was absolutely excellent. We would recommend this experience!
