A relaxed wine-led rooftop restaurant with panoramic views of Manchester City Centre, a daily changing menu, and a cellar with more than 400 different wines to choose from.

Climat is the second site from the team behind Covino, who set up shop in Chester's historic city centre back in 2016. The team has since forged a reputation both regionally & nationally as a fiercely passionate wine-led restaurant with exciting daily changing menus.

Head Chef Luke Richardson best describes his style of cooking as 'Parisian ex-pat food' - a nod to his time spent cooking in the cosmopolitan kitchens of Paris.

As the name 'Climat' might suggest, our cellar of more than 400 different wines has a slight lean toward our favourite region of all - Burgundy. Outside of Burgundy you’ll find a healthy selection of other favourites from around the world, with wines from small producers, to the more iconic, and all the top vignerons that sit between.

Lovely roof top restaurant, sharing plates menu with many different options. Extensive wine list. Poor service. Waited 15 mins to be offered drink and a further 20 minutes to be seated. Enjoyed food but poor service. Once seated service improved

The services was impeccable, the waitors created a lovely ambience and attended every need we had. Wine menu was great! The food was nice but wasn’t as good as some other small plate restaurants in Manchester that I’d been to, however the view made up for it.

Outstanding leisurely lunch with a unique perspective and bird's eye view of Manchester city centre and beyond! Enjoyed the clever tasting menu beautifully prepared and skilfully presented and with something for everyone! Great selection of wines served by the glass and attentive and professional personal service. 10 out if 10

Impressive location and view Amazing food and drinks list … some of the best dishes we’ve had Really helpful and knowledgeable staff Minimalist setting and get like a secret venue … a real treat

Very impressed with it first visit to Climat. Interesting menu with dishes well prepared. We particularly liked the Halibut head! Chatting with the chefs made the experience even more enjoyable. The wine list was excellent and the service impeccable. We’ll definitely return.

Beautiful setting with quality food and service. Will be visiting again and recommending it to other. Wine was really nice and the servers were first class.
