First time at Cliffside. Stunning facility with an amazing patio and view. Food was good, although a bit pricy. Charcuterie board was very generous portions. Service was friendly, but very slow. Seemed to be understaffed. Would return.

Dinner was great, service was quick. We were really worried since we tried to have lunch there and it took over an hour to get our sandwiches.

Our server was polite and pleasant; her service was impeccable. The food was outstanding. Huge portions and came out hot and fresh. The restaurant was beautiful inside and out. The gardens and landscaping were incredible.

Excellent establishment and hospitality. Would highly recommend this as a place you must experience for anyone visiting Gravenhurst area!

After our last experience we weren’t sure we’d be back but thought we’d give it one more try! Cliffside redeemed itself for us. Mesl was very good and service was excellent. Thank you!!

Service was painfully slow and inattentive. Food took a long time to arrive and was well presented but not well cooked. A duck breast that was asked to be cooked medium minimum still had deep red in centre (raw almost). The breast was also not a good cut and had the stringy muscle tendon included which meant inedible waste of 1/3 of the meat. A tiny helping of risotto as a bed with a couple of tiny carrots for almost $50 before tax and gratuity for this dish is not good value. Wife had salmon which although fully edible was presented in exactly the same way bed of risotto etc…which leads me to believe the kitchen is terribly understaffed and untrained chefs are putting the dishes together (or pre-arranging the beds). Wine arrived after the main course was presented even though we asked for it to be served before the dishes arrived. Either poor management or poor wait staff needs to be changed before I would return. The live music whilst creating ambiance doesn’t work with the acoustics of this restaurant. Way too high noise level for people to have dinner. The person should be in the bar not the dining area.
