CLIFFORD’S GRILL & LOUNGE – a sophisticated bar and restaurant, with an industrial retro-chic feel. Fuelled by the naked flame of the ten-burner grill, Clifford’s menu offers a modern twist on traditional shared dining, from succulent steaks to smoky share plates, using only the best local produce.

For an experience you won’t forget, treat yourself to the venue’s famous melt-in-your-mouth 1kg T-bone steak, served with shared sides, or, indulge in its famous slow-cooked lamb shoulder for two, served with homemade salsa verde. せっかくオーストラリアに来たからにはと評判の良かったこのレストランを予約して行きました。平日だったの混んではいませんでしたが、念願のTボーンステーキとサーロイン、その他アペタイザーをいただきました。ステーキは程よい脂身と赤身肉がとても美味しかった。Tボーンステーキも2つの肉質が味わえサイコーでした。お店の雰囲気も店員さんの対応も丁寧で大満足！お値段もそこまで高くはなく、ゴールドコーストに来た際は是非、寄ってみてください！

The food is fabulous. The pork belly is the best I have ever had. The bright lights made it feel a bit like a cafeteria. Just need to change their tasting plate because it has been the same for too long. I still love to eat there.

Went to Clifford's for Fathers Day Tomahawk steak and service by drinks waitress was extremely poor and same waitress took our food order and had no idea what she was offering for the sides as she said we could pick from the entrees list, which we thought was very unusual. Asked for our Tomahawk to come out medium rare and it came out just off blue, and was like trying to eat boot leather. Complained to host and he actually asked us if we wanted him to heat it up and cook it a bit more. After we refused that he was quite happy to remove the Tomahawk price from our bill, as we had hardly touched it...

Steak was closer to well done than medium rare. To me everything was salty. Too many sauces. To say the broccolini was the best part isn't a good wrap

A wonderful evening… lamb shoulder was perfectly cooked, sweet potato fries and beetroot salad were also delicious. Friendly service, great value for money. Would highly recommend. :-) :-) :-)

We had an enjoyable meal for 2 at Clifford's. The window table gave a good street view, slightly elevated for a little privacy. The service was efficient and friendly without being too intrusive. You would not class the restaurant as intimate and cozy, it is a large space but the wide positioning of tables on a low mezzanine gives a feeling of reasonable separation. The steaks we had were very agreeable, especially the eye fillet, and cooked pretty much to the requested done-ness. A highlight were the accompaniments with a good range of vegetables with a good texture, certainly not overcooked. Overall a good steak meal in a pleasant environment and at a reasonable price.

My family enjoyed our dinner here. We had 4 adults and 4 children and ordered 2 T-bone steaks, 3 garlic breads and grilled corn. The T-bone steaks were as good as advertised and the accompanying mashed potatoes and salad were great. The kids loved the garlic bread and kept coming back for more. The staff was very kind and friendly. They gave coloring books to small children.

Terrible steak and grumpy staff Asked for a RARE $67.00 T bone steak. It was closer to Medium when it arrived. I explained to the waitress who was very unhelpful and finally said she would speak to the chef. She came back 5 mins later saying the chef disagreed with my opinion and that I should accept the steak!. I was surprised at this but stood my ground and requested another, which finally came out around 20 mins later at which point my business guests had already finished their meals. The replaced steak was still not rare, but medium rare at best. Staff overall were very un-attentive, considering for a Saturday night the location was not busy. Now I know why it was not busy!! The meal was a huge disappointment and It is a "NEVER AGAIN" experience for myself and my business colleagues. I would advise any reader to consider alternative options instead, e.g. MooMoo at Broadbeach. Do not waste your hard-earned cash at Clifford's Grill & Lounge.

Usually I’m pretty understanding when it comes to catering for my allergy(garlic) because it’s not always easy, but this was ridiculous. When ordering food, my allergy was completely disregarded. She basically told me to stop talking and I was told to wait for her to put an order through, which I understood, then when I could finally ask she told me “if it doesn’t say it on the menu then it’s not in it.” She said this in a rude way and didn’t even ask if it was an allergy or anything, just walked away before I could say. so IMAGINE my frustration and disappointment when my food arrived to the table and it had the food I was allergic to right on top of it. And THEN she asked me if I was allergic to it! To top it off me and my partners steaks were cooked opposite. Mine was rare not Medium rare, when it was meant to be his. His was medium rare. Which was fine, we still ate it and the food was yummy, it was just disappointment added. And finally the service from the person who seated us was lovely but the person who took our order was rude and as someone with an allergy I didn’t feel safe eating there or comfortable. Overall it did not make spending that much money feel worth it because we didn’t even receive good service. Just upsetting really.
