At Clementine, we’re serving seasonal, innovative eats in a modern & lively atmosphere. Our team, led by John (2023 James Beard nominee for Best Chef: Texas) and Elise Russ, draws inspiration from diverse global flavors. Our ever-evolving menu guarantees fresh and exciting options, while our dishes like the White Mushroom Salad, Ricotta Cavatelli and Clementine Crunch Bar remain cherished favorites.
Our beverage menu is small but mighty, carefully curated to include only the most delicious wines & beers from our absolute favorite producers expertly selected to elevate your dining experience. Want your own bottle? Our corkage fee is $35 per 750ml.
Our Dining Room provides comfortable indoor seating, while the Kitchen Bar boasts an exciting vantage point overlooking our open kitchen, allowing you to witness the creation of each dish. For a change of scenery, our covered patio, is perfect for al fresco dining, complete with heaters and blankets to keep you cozy on those cool nights.

In a cheery space dressed with a mural of the restaurant’s namesake fruit, James Beard-nominated chef John Russ whips up hits like hush puppies with labneh and chamomile-brined spatchcock chicken topped with chimichurri made from the onsite garden’s herbs. The food was excellent. Sitting outside on comfortable evening was great and outside is quieter. Service was generally very good. A little too chatty; the wine with my entree a little slow to arrive--small quibbles about a wonderfully enjoyable evening. There's no getting around that it's in a strip mall and the outside seating is next to the parking lot. It's expensive, but in line with its peers.

Great service, average dining ambiance. Hush puppies were dense and uninteresting. Sweetbreads were over poached and rubbery - swordfish was very good. Chicken dish was a bone in leg…not the caliber cut that should be served in a high end concept. $200 tab for 3 apps, 2 average entrees and two glasses of wine. No spirits available. Clementine had good potential but the value and quality is not commensurate with the prices.

We did the feed me for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. It was exciting and fun to just sit back and be surprised! The flavors were so multilayered and liable to change midway through chewing taking you to a new level of taste. The restaurant was a bit warm when we came in at opening and the booth backs weren’t very comfortable but a switch of a chair and a little time for the doors to close and contain the cool air and we were off to begin our culinary experience. All staff members were so friendly and accommodating and the timing of each course was perfect! It was truly a culinary experience and I would love to come back for more!

Clementine is one of my very favorite restaurants in San Antonio. Being a foody, I love very delicious food. As I have travelled to many countries in Europe and Asia as well as Morocco, my favorite foods are very varied. Always go for the best! My friends also love Clementine and our favorite server Dario. He is very helpful and has a great sense of humor.

The food and service were amazing. I sat at the countertop, which I recommend, and got to watch all the food getting cooked. I definitely reommend eating here if you're in San Antonio.

It was without a doubt one of the best dining experiences of my life. Chose the “Feed Me” option and had one if the best meals ever. It was an experience unlike any I have had before with flavor combinations that left me speechless.
