Located in the culinary district of downtown Harrisonburg, VA in the building which formerly housed the Strand Theater. We are proud to be independently and locally owned. Clementine serves weekday lunch, weekend brunch and dinner every night on our main floor and patio (weather permitting) until at least 9PM. We host Team Trivia on Tuesday nights (8-10PM), Open Mic on Wednesday nights (7-10PM), Live Jazz on Thursday Nights (7-9PM) and award-winning music on Friday and Saturday nights. We also feature Ruby’s Lounge in our basement which is open 6PM – 1:30AM, Tuesday-Saturday.

We went to Clementine for the first time on 2/13 and will definitely return! Despite being jazz night, which we didn't know, and the night before Valentine's day, our party of 5 was seated immediately. The place was jam-packed, but our server, Ryan, took the time to ensure that our party had pertinent info for our CELIAC family member to dine safely. We had the spinach artichoke dip and salmon starters -- both were excellent and available with gf bread. Despite it being such a busy night, Ryan was attentive without hovering, drinks replenished as needed. The entrees were all fantastic: scallops melt in the mouth tender, salmon bowl (L) cleaned, BEST shrimp and grits ever, chicken burrito was too big to eat, and 8yo granddaughter ate her entire burger without stopping for her fries! Everything was served hot, delicious, and no one added salt or pepper to their food! Granddaughter wanted dessert to go; when Ryan went to get it, she leaned conspiratorially across the table at me to ask if we could leave an extra tip "Because he's so NICE!" LOL! We'll definitely be back!

We LOVE Clementine. We have been there multiple times, and we've never been disappointed. Excellent, inventive dishes, great cocktails, mocktails and beer selections. Staff is always warm and welcoming, and the fact that they offer reservations on Open Table makes it so easy to book a table at this lovely restaurant in a very busy college town.

We recently dined at Clementine on a Saturday evening and had a fantastic experience. With a reservation in place, we were seated promptly at a comfortable high-top near the bar. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with thoughtfully curated artwork and music that struck the perfect balance—mellow yet upbeat. Our drinks arrived quickly and were excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, and as I told our waiter, the ribeye was one of the best I’ve had outside of my own kitchen. The salads were fresh and flavorful, and my kids devoured their burgers—a clear sign of a great meal. I also appreciated the menu’s transparency regarding allergens, which made dining easy for the gluten-free members of our party. The variety of options ensured everyone had something to enjoy. Although we don’t typically order dessert, we made an exception this time, and it was well worth it. The dairy-free, gluten-free chocolate mousse was a revelation, and the peanut butter pie was just as delightful. It had been quite a while since our last visit to Clementine, but we’re already planning our return. Keep up the great work!

We enjoyed our brunch at Clementine. The atmosphere was very fun and casual. Our server was friendly and efficient and the food was good. We enjoyed our visit and we would come again in the future.

We are regulars from a different town and it’s always with the hour drive. Menu varies and that is great because you get to try something new every time. The wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary today and this place was the only place we felt safe doing so. Great food, service, and artistic ambiance!
