Claudio Pirollo grew up in Belgium where he soon discovered his passion for cooking as he wandered around his father’s fine Italian épicerie (grocery store) and watched his mother prepare dinner every day. The dual influence of Italy and Belgium triggered Chef Pirollo’s aspirations to develop his knowledge and experience with different flavors.
A Trattoria is not a pizzeria, it is an Italian-style eating establishment that is generally much less formal than a ristorante but more formal than an osteria. It is similar to what the French call Bistrot.
Trattorias are traditionally family owned, casual, rustic neighborhood restaurants found throughout all of Italy that offer fresh, regional, local and family specialties on the menu.

My friend and I split each of our meals and dessert, and the food was fresh and delicious. Even the espresso was excellent. I look forward to returning for lunch (I am already a big dinner fan).

Best panacotta in town and the tuna curd was delicious as was the zucchini pasta with zucchini. Meanly quibble is tat he needs the teeniest more salt. The capers was excellentand the focaccia was delicious. All in all a very pleasant experience and we are definitely returning. His rata is not to be missed.

Great experience. We were initially seated in a very bad table next to kitchen that was noisy and on request they rearranged tables to move to a much quieter area. They were very responsive. Food was good as was service.

Excellent food and service. Great wood-fired pizzas and pastas. Tasty salads too. And don't miss dessert! Homemade gelato!

We waited excitedly for our friends at Et Voila to open their second restaurant in Palisades. Our expectations could not have been higher. And Claudio’s Table surpassed those expectations in every respect. It has become an instant favorite—wonderful pasta, pizza, and fish. Welcoming and friendly staff. And all at reasonable price points. Bravo!

appreciated staff adjusting to confusion in booking. i did not show up in the system for wed but we were seated and served promptly. i think i was booked for thursday! which i did not realize and therefore would have been a no show. apology for any confusion. see you next time.

This was my FIRST visit at this restaurant. I have been going to the chef’s other restaurant Et Voila for at least 7 months on a very regular basis. The staff there have continually recommended I try here as well. I’m real glad I did!!!!! Fantastic place, just like Et Voila! Chloe was wonderful. Now I have TWO great restaurants just down the street from each other. The pasta at Claudio’s Table was excellent. Jim Manwaring
