Claudio Pirollo grew up in Belgium where he soon discovered his passion for cooking as he wandered around his father’s fine Italian épicerie (grocery store) and watched his mother prepare dinner every day. The dual influence of Italy and Belgium triggered Chef Pirollo’s aspirations to develop his knowledge and experience with different flavors.
A Trattoria is not a pizzeria, it is an Italian-style eating establishment that is generally much less formal than a ristorante but more formal than an osteria. It is similar to what the French call Bistrot.
Trattorias are traditionally family owned, casual, rustic neighborhood restaurants found throughout all of Italy that offer fresh, regional, local and family specialties on the menu.

I had an aragula salad and linguini alle vongole, plus a cannoli dessert. All very good and the price is very reasonable. I also love the arancinis. We ate on the patio, which was very enjoyable.

Claudio's is a terrific neighborhood Italian restaurant. We had a lovely meal and the service was excellent.

The food was very good. We had a salad, pasta and a pizza and it was all very good. The noise level is much better now as compared to when Claudio's Table first opened. We will be back.

Great food 33$ lunch three course special is a steak. Great pasta meat sauce pizza egg plant parm. Salads beet and Cesar. Great desserts tiramisu and panna cotta. Will see them again next week. And best cocoon de Pepi. Only one in town like Rome.

Claudio’s Table continues to be one of our favorite go-to restaurants. It has been fun this fall to go on Tuesday nights to try the pesto special of the evening. Other foods also are wonderful. Last night two of us shared the fried artichoke appetizer (not to be missed), and then shared the Branzino and seafood pasta (Calamarata). Both were terrific. To top it off, Daniel is a terrific, helpful waiter.

Meal was great, server was great. Sorry to say the overhead lighting was so incredibly bright (round wall sconces were not lit but not sure if they would have changed anything), it just felt like eating in a daytime school cafeteria :(. Kept imagining the lights being lower and how it would improve the ambiance and afford at least a little bit of coziness.

Our group of 6 found our dining experience to be delicious and delightful. The menu and special’s listing provides so many unusual options. The fresh pasta melts in your mouth and salads are fresh and not overly dressed. Each entree selected was a winner. The by the glass wine choices are incredible. Great dinner with outstanding service.

Brunch/lunch today was great and it was the perfect day to dine outside. Excellent food but at $50 per person (no alcohol though 2 of us had dessert) it was kinda pricey. Great service and we will definitely go back, but it'll have to be a special occasion rather than a neighborhood "drop-in."
