Clark’s Montecito is a stylish all-day restaurant celebrating coastal American classics spanning from New England to California. In addition to its flagship menu of oysters and raw bar, a signature burger, daily catch specials, lobster rolls, chowder and refreshing crudo, this California location features seasonal bounty from the Pacific Ocean. The wine list highlights California classics alongside French whites and reds primarily from Burgundy and the Loire. Clark’s signature martinis and cocktails are always available. A collaboration between Lambert McGuire Design and Santa Barbara-based architect Jeff Shelton, the space offers a seamless indoor-outdoor dining experience that marries Clark’s classic coastal design features with the more whimsical ceramic tile traditions of Portugal and Mexico and a Mediterranean-inspired design that pays homage to its coastal setting and historic Spanish Colonial Revival architecture.

Excellent food excellent service. We sit outside with heaters. Noisy inside. Best waiter Michael!!!

I love the vibe here - beautiful space and great staff. The food was delicious of course, we are not oyster lovers but the fish was wonderful.

Went for brunch. Sat outside on a beautiful Sunday morning. Had a yummy crab omelet- substituted gruyere for goat cheese. Potatoes cooked perfectly. Companion had egg in the hole sandwich which he described as mostly bread. Menu could use a few more breakfast/brunch items. Very expensive.

A lovely lunch on the patio. We each had the crab cake dish and shared the special cake they have for dessert....with cream cheese ice cream. All the food was very good but I thought a bit pricey. The gentleman behind us, when leaving, said that how does one eat the shoestring potatoes that he said came with his dish. We saw them go by to other diners and I get his point as they are so thin they would be cold in a few minutes and how does one eat them, by the handful??? The service was impeccable. We had a wonderful waiter. No real complaints except a bit rich on the prices.

Walked in at 5:45 for 6pm rez No one was behind the bar or at hostess desk. Had linguine with, to share . It was not split in kitchen as asked, As expected, it was difficult to split at the table. The secondary bowl was ice cold. Very few clams and broth had only a hint of clam, so very pricey for what we received! Wine came after 2 appetizers and after main was served, although it was the first thing ordered , along with oysters . Had to get up to ask for salt and pepper and bread and parm, Tuna Carpaccio was absolutely delicious and unique The bread and the presentation of it were top notch. We were offered a taste of the 2 Chardonnays , this was so helpful before we ordered a $24 glass of wine. Chocolate Mousse cake with pecans was delicious. Servers were pleasant but appeared confused and overwhelmed / more training and management presence needed.,
