Open since 2010, Claire's Kitchen creates an authentic and familiar French experience that keeps bringing customers back.

Situated between Surry Hills and Darlinghurst over 2 levels. The ground level is reserved for classic dinner experience while the mezzanine level hosts Cabaret Nights from Tuesday to Sunday or private functions at request.

Former TV chef Marc Kuzma (aka Claire de Lune) lets his talents shine at his Darlinghurst venture. Step through the doors from Oxford Street, and enter a world of glamour, decadence and French chic. Soaring ceilings, imported wallpapers, glittering chandeliers, white linen, black Louis XV chairs and French antiques will make you feel like you're world's away from the chaos of the bustling street outside. Oh oui, nous aimons que….(we love that!). Charming French waiters warmly welcome patrons at Claire' and the brasserie classics with contemporary touches are done with true French finesse. It's French chic at its best.

Our group found out about Claire's Kitchen from a walking group we took earlier this year, we have looked forward to eating here for months. The team were very friendly, helpful, and but not obtrusive. The meals were all outstanding and I would highly recommend a visit to everyone

Overall 2/5 , Overprice food & food isn’t that great . Don’t waste your money here , go somewhere else . Can post pic but the staff wouldn’t want me too . The scallops were so overcooked and you only get 4 pieces for $28 Beef tartare was decent , the salmon wasn’t good just salmon with potato salad . Snail didn’t have enough flavour it was just oil. Some staff were nice , and there was a few that wasn’t nice and had bad attitude.

We had a wonderful evening meal at Claire's Kitchen. The staff were welcoming, attentive and efficient without being intrusive. The food was excellent and served at appropriate intervals. The restaurant atmosphere was casual and comfortable. An excellent evening repast

Reliable as always. The duck pie is ALWAYS a winner, as was the lamb shank special. Our waiter was charming and we were pleased he suggested a couple of entrees to share while we waited for mains (the duck liver was incredible). The chocolate mousse was delicious. (I do need to mention that I was disappointed with the rhum baba which had an unusual consistency with a very sweet sauce.) Incredibly good value for money, which is so rare nowadays. We never resent a single dollar spent at Claire's.

As always impeccable service .. caring and attentive without being stodgy or formal . The team are amazing and the Food great. Loved the that fireplace was on for a chilly Autumn night too! Wine list is great as are the cocktails
