Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, good size portions served. We all thought the meal was excellent value for money. Will definitely be going back!

Very disappointed with our meal. Christmas Menu which of course is more expensive but we hadn't realised when we'd booked on line for Sunday Lunch. The food was overcooked and luke warm. Very meagre selection of vegetables too. Dessert was okay but brandy sauce was so watery and luke warm. Crumble okay but again small amount of custard despite my husband requesting a large portion!

The Sunday lunch was good, the meat was well cooked and there were plenty of vegetables, however, the Yorkshire Puddings were blown and burnt. We sent them back twice but they were all the same. There is no way these would have been served at home they would have been thrown in the bin.

Excellent food. Excellent value. Lovely staff. Choices of dessert were low ( only 1 left ) But to be fair it was delicious. Would have been nice if my hubby should have had a gluten free Yorkshire pudding which he has had before but sadly not this time.

Only criticism is portions were a little too big for a six course taster meal! Otherwise, an enjoyable evening in every sense.
