Citrin is a modern Californian cuisine restaurant by Chef Josiah Citrin. Amazing meal. Service was sadly oddly slow. Took 45 mins to get first course. Expected better. That said, everything was beyond delicious.

Awesome tasting menu, with an option of wine pairing. We chose wine pairing and thought that the whole experience was excellent

The best thing was the food was very high quality. The night we were there, there some glitches. They got our order wrong twice and seemed to ignore or not take seriously our food allergies. The sauces were delicious but in 2 cases overpowered the taste of the food and didn’t complement or enhance the flavor. And the tiny pieces of lobster had no flavor at all in the lobster/pasta dish. The drinks and wine were spectacular, the amuse bouche, the chocolate dessert, and the bread delicious. Very kind service with many mistakes. Not sure about that 1 star Michelin rating. But we made the best of it and had a good experience in the secret garden area despite the music blaring in our ears that was slowly turned up after they kindly had turned it down for us.

This was our 4th Michelin restaurant we have visited and we enjoyed the service and flexibility in the menu. The food was good, with some complexity in textures and flavors. The drinks were fantastic.

Incredible experience. The food was creative, inventive, and deserves its star. I sat at the bar and the service was warm, genuine and all around wonderful. Had the poisson du jour, lobster bolognese, mushroom risotto, and ribeye. Oh- and the amuse bouche was so refreshing: a panna cotta in a fresh broth. Finished with a tapioca passion fruit sorbet and a dark chocolate truffle. Can’t wait to come back!

This restaurant has a Michelin star and it deserves that award. Service was very attentive; the waitress knew the menu quite well and made solid recommendations. The interior is nicely decorated and it is quiet (it was not crowded on a Thursday night). We started with the tomato soup and the “chopped salad,” the former of which was better. I had the corn pasta and my colleague had the duck pasta, both superb. We split three desserts, of which the pavlova and the fondant were the best. We are eager to try Melisse, the sister restaurant (same location).

Beautiful evening with truly spectacular food and service. Each dish was presented perfectly and our servers were very knowledgeable about the. menu. I’d definitely recommend getting the tasting menu. Wine pairings could have been better, however. We were in the outdoor patio - very pleasant but could be improved with better landscaping, privacy wall and maybe some different lighting. Overall, an amazing and memorable experience.
