Inspired by the hustle and bustle of India’s ancient and modern bazaars where goods, ideas, flavours and experiences were exchanged, Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond’s menu, from Executive Chef Vivek Singh and Head Chef Rakesh Singh, runs from breakfast through to dinner and features pan-Indian, street food style dishes, along with a new innovative range of vegan friendly plates, that blend modern cultural influences with classic spices and flavours.

Located a stone’s throw from the station and Richmond Theatre, Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond is designed to transport you to the colourful markets of India. Interiors are vibrant and playful with bright neon signs, bold patterns and illustrations whilst a spacious al fresco terrace is the perfect spot to while away the day and indulge in a spot of people-watching.

Lovely setting, really delicious food and a really sweet waiter. My only criticism is that they serve tiny bottles of Coke. I do not understand why restaurants do this, apart from the obvious which always leaves a bad test! Stop doing it Cinnamon Bazaar! Everything else was excellent so why spoil the customer experience?

Genuinely an enticing and exciting breakfast menu. If you’re hesitant to stray from your typical fare, the Bazaar might just be the temptation you need.

My second time here and as before everything was amazing. The staff were pleasant and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the chaats. Will be back again very soon!

A nice restaurant with a interesting take on Indian food. Pricing was a little high. Ambience is good and the staff were pleasant.

In a city known for its Indian restaurants, Cinnamon Bazaar in Richmond stands out as my favorite. Just as delicious and creative as Indian restaurants with a “star” but with a casual vibe.

The service and food were good but by around 10 the lights went up and chairs were put on the tables they wanted us out and it wasn’t late I also had to ask for plates at one stage so we could serve from the dishes of food I’d heard good things about the Covent Garden branch which is why we booked.

Regarding the lighting issue, we experienced an electrical problem that caused the lights to dim around 9:45 PM. We resolved the issue and had the lights back to normal by 10:00 PM. I’m surprised to hear about the chairs on the tables, as this is not our standard practice. I assure you that we did not intend to make you feel rushed or unwelcome. We wanted to like this place - and have been really impressed by Cinnamon in Covent Garden. This is a poor imitation. Staff did their best (but they were too few in number), but the basics need improving. Cocktails were variable at best, food was similarly mixed. The chaats were innovative and varied, but the mains were on the small side, some served tepid, and the flavour had been massively toned down.
