We always use to go to your Stevenage branch, but also have family near Hitchin, so we go there too, always good service, good food and friendly staff. Always a pleasure

So I’ve tried this place twice and I can say that I will definitely not be going back. The first time I went to meet a friend for lunch and had a table booked, when I walked in I was told quite abruptly that there were no tables when I tried to say I had a table booked I was told again there were no tables, when I finally managed to say I had a table booked I was met with oh I’ll check. I was shown to a table at the back which is fine but I had to climb into the chair because the table and chairs were all so close together, it took a good 10 minutes to get anyone to ask if I wanted a drink while waiting I asked for a coke with ice not a Diet Coke but got Diet Coke twice and it took 4 tries for the right drink to come along, we ordered food eventually and waited about half an hour for some tapas, food was ok but service definitely needs work, went back today for breakfast ordered drinks one tea and one coffee, when they were brought over the waitress poured tea over one of our bags, ordered food, it took forever to bring the food out and it was cold, but we’d waited for about 45 minutes and we were hungry and couldn’t be bothered to send it back. I won’t be going back there are definitely better places in Hitchin and cheaper

1st visit on saturday. I was not disappointed. Food was very tasty & very reasonable. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself was very cool and relaxed. And the DJ was excellent. Lots of good music for my age (35). Looking forward to my next visit.

Quiet on Xmas eve but still nice atmosphere. Really nice burgers and great service. Been there about 5 times since they opened and every time the staff and management have been engaging, cheerful and attentive. Gives them the edge over many of the pubs in town.

We ordered a selection of dishes all of which were fantastic. The fish cakes did not quite live up to the high standard set by the rest of the food but in isolation would probably be seen as very good. We asked for some more bread and got some wonderful freshly made ciabatta. Little things, like printed rather than laminated menus, would be nicer but I would not fault the food or service and look forward to going again.

First visit - very disappointed - won't rush back. They had no processco - served a chipped cocktail glass & not apologetic - food ok - ordered coffee at 9.15pm & was told may not be able to have as machine maybe being cleaned. Did get coffee but staff seemed reluctant to accommodate. Was questioned by the server about the amount of tip that was left. Made to feel uncomfortable prob won't return. Very quiet surprising as just before Xmas .

Good food, nice and hot. Gladly accommodated my earlier call requesting food on arrival due to my friend’s health issue. Always have a nice time & always get good service. Recommended!
