The host was looking down at his phone when we walked in that we had to say that we were there before him greeting us. Our waiter was fabulous and super friendly. The food was very overpriced & it was not that great at all.

This was a great family friendly option, with lots of choices and options for parents and kids. The buffet was clean, fully stocked and fresh. The restaurant overall was clean and staff were extremely attentive and kind. Our server went above and beyond to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and make her feel so special.

I was staying at a hotel nearby, and this came up on OpenTable as a restaurant that was open. It was very interesting, because it’s actually in the Kalahari resort. So it’s not its own entity. So, I was not too excited about the fact that my husband and I dressed up to come out to this restaurant that, had people coming from the pool and smell like chlorine. However, the service was impeccable. The food was OK, but a bit overpriced. I wouldn’t go back, but if I were staying at that resort, I probably would give it another chance.

Our server was good, but overall the food is VERY pricey, especially for the quality of it. The chips were more chewy than crisp and salsa was bland like the other five food dishes our table ordered. The enchilada tasted more like lasagna than by far mexican. Kids mac n cheese was dry. Will definitely skip dining here if we come back to Kalahari. Explains why on such a busy 4th of July weekend there was no waiting line and many open tables.

I would have liked some festive music to make the atmosphere better and our rice and beans came out cold, otherwise good margaritas and food!

We had a wonderful experience here! Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. He checked back on us often, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food was delicious - especially the white bean chili. Our son said it was his favorite food he ever had, and we had to agree that it was very good. The Casamigos old fashioned was delicious and had one of the large sphere ice cubes, so that was a fun touch. The restaurant atmosphere is modern, fun, and inviting. We had two adults and two children and we felt welcome and comfortable. There was a good variety on the regular menu and the kids menu. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if staying at the Kalahari, and would probably also consider returning if we were just in the WI Dells area. A little expensive, but a pretty good value for what we got. The only thing I would change is that I wish they would offer corn tortillas and not just flour tortillas. Otherwise, highly recommended!
