    Lovely setting with comfortable seating and plenty of space (not too close to other diners) and not noisy (so you could easily talk to each other). The staff were all attentive and friendly. Food was very tasty and good sized portions. Decent value for money - had a lovely meal (the only downside was that 3 of us had wanted lamp chops or lamb ribs and they did not have any - however what we did choose was delicious). I would definitely come here again.

    Wow what a fantastic steak - possibly the best I have ever had. It’s not cheap but you are paying for top quality so think of it as a special treat unless you have deep pockets. The service was great - staff genuinely wanted to please and receive feedback (good and not so good). Where I marked down was ambiance but I was eating early (5.30pm) so hardly anyone there. Also although starter and mains great, the desert choice less so - a bit like Chinese restaurants where you feel you’re getting something from the freezer rather than bespoke. Overall, a great meal if you want a top notch steak and I will be going again next time I am in Watford.

    Ate here a over a year ago, loved it. Utterly disappointed with the food and service last night. - Staff rude & abrupt, didnt seem to care. - Charged for a starter when requesting a dip for the Turkish bread ordered - Several of the meat options at a restaurant grill not available

    I booked via open table which I’ve never used before and never been to this restaurant either. Wasn’t a recommendation i just fancied some steak! Upon arriving we were greeted by friendly accommodating staff Place was clean and it wasn’t cold like in most restaurants which I absolutely hate. The service was on point didn’t have to wait to be served. The food was quick but well made and cooked and tasted absolutely Devine! I am sceptical as most steak places don’t cook the steak as you’d like it and it never has any flavour but everything we ordered was delicious I mean I rarely write reviews but had to this time and I definitely will be going back for sure for occasions and or just to get some really tasty food! Complimentary Turkish tea is given after your meal but they ask you first before just handing it out which is nice and I am not a tea drinker but this was also great! Bill for 3 people came to over £230 that was hummus starters three steak meals and 2 drinks each but honestly I didn’t mind paying that because it’s very rare that a restaurant serves food that has any taste nowadays. Overall great first experience I just hope it’s the same when we go back 👌🏼

    We waited 40 mins to be sat down, then waited an additional hour to be served drinks then another hour for food . Our reservation was at 8:30 and wasn’t served our mains untill 10:30

    We booked through OpenTable. However, the restaurant was overcook so we walked out after waiting for one and a half hours.

    Valentine's day with a bad experience at Boga steakhouse watford. We booked for 7:30 pm, we went in and were immediately seated at a table, after 20 minutes a member of staff came to take our order, after about 10 minutes they came with the drinks, and there we were waiting for the starters we had ordered together. with the order, we watched several couples leave the place after waiting for a long time, after 2 hours, I asked the member of staff who had taken the order from us if it was taking too long, he just repeatedly said I know I know I know, and with his back facing me. We immediately got up from the table and I kindly went to the counter and told them to cancel our order, and we left. A place like this, especially these days, should have the doors locked, and also choose friendly and not rude employees.
