Chef Ati Malaj has been in the restaurant industry for over 25 years with Ciccio being his fourth restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
When you eat at Ciccio, you will gracefully taste his carefully crafted choices of ingredients. He is consistently raising the bar with innovated twists on all of his dishes.
Our mission is to have a place with not just extraordinary food, but also one that will make you feel at home, offering the highest standards in quality and service. From the logo to the silverware, every single detail was thought out and it has a why behind it. Talking about our logo, we don’t call it just a logo; we wanted it to tell a story and that’s exactly how it turned out. As simple as it looks, it tells our story.
The word “Ciccio” [pronounced CH EE – ch oh] means “sweetheart/an affectionate way of calling someone you love” in Italian, and that is exactly how he and his family feel about this place and what it represents to them.

Delicious! We started with buratta salad. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband enjoyed osso bucco. All were delicious! Our server, Lucky did a great job. Ciccio is a hidden gem in McKinney!

Delicious food and great service. Live music. Short rib and gnocchi…our favorite. The most tender we have ever had.

This is usually one of our favorite restaurants. Service and ambience / music were wonderful. Food was not quite the usual. Cioppino was too spicy and not enough ragu in the pasta. Ravioli was over sauced.

The brunch selections seemed limited. My husband opted for the burger and I got the chicken Milanese sandwich. I didn’t realize it would be a sandwich or fried. It was greasy to me but I don’t generally eat fried food. They should add a breakfast sandwich, maybe an omelette or plate of eggs, potatoes, toast and choice of bacon or Italian sausage. I would also appreciate a cup of soup or maybe a regular soup and a soup during jour. They have an entree soup but need a starter soup. This is meant to be constructive criticism. I love this place! This was my first time for brunch and apparently McKinney’s best kept secret. Most people don’t think Italian for brunch.

Love this restaurant, the style, atmosphere, food and service was fantastic. And the live music with the mid-century vibe was perfect!

Food was great, but a bit spendy, I’d spend it here again if I wanted a good meal or was celebrating. Plates, cutlery, glasses all heavy and sturdy. Proud of their wine at $12 a glass for a Meiomi (you can get at Kroger for $16 a bottle), but I had one, what felt like small pouring for $12. Place has a great vibe and although I enjoy a little live entertainment, we could barely talk or hear each other over it. They needed to turn their speaker down a bit.. even the house music was loud for the 10 minutes it was on and the entertainment wasn’t playing … ruined it a bit for me. I’d go back, but would leave if the keyboard and mic were set up. Overall, would recommend.
