Ciao Italian Restaurant is a family owned restaurant. We refuse to cut corners on our food. We search the market daily to find the freshest available local ingredients. All of our chicken stock, veal stock, and sauces are made fresh daily. Our food is all made from scratch and we cook to order, and its easy to accommodate any food allergies our special diets. Our Mama's meatballs, lasagna, marinara sauce, and our house made mozzarella are recipes that are passed down through the generations. We try to maintain a very friendly, cozy and happy feel to our restaurant. we ant you to feel like you are having a meal at one of your family's house. While we want to remain family friendly we also provide you with a restaurant that also has a romantic feel. Much of the same as the Tratorias of Italy. While we maintain a high level of service we like to keep it relaxed so that you can feel comfortable.

The food is always great, had one of the specials blackened grouper over risotto. Portions are very generous. Vegetables always very fresh in the salads. Bartenders all make the best martinis, and are very friendly. They also have a very extensive wine list. Will definitely be back and commend to our friends.

The food was outstanding, and the service was great . This was my first visit and it seemed like a good local place for Italian food.

The food was fantastic. Had mostly the specials which were so delicious. Our server Jurgen was great helped with menu choices., gave us time to complete our course before bringing the next. The place has a very comfortable environment. If lived nearby would frequent this restaurant.

Unassuming building from the outside but nice decor inside. Full of diners. Service was good. Menu extensive with specials. Pasta was very rich a little too heavy for my taste but still nice. Good range of wine and beers. Still deciding whether to book again during final week of our vacation.

Our dinner was by far the best meal we have had in Myrtle Beach. The true Italian ambiance with great service set the stage for a great meal. This is our third visit to Ciao and we appreciate their attention to detail and quality in all their ingredients. Thank you Ciao, we can’t wait to return on our next visit.

New to the area and our first visit. Server Zach was attentive and helpful without being too much. Fettucine in clam sauce was perfect as was the chicken parm. (Though the sauce served with the accompanying spaghetti seemed a little uninspired.) We'll definitely be back!

Second time here. Good is outstanding. The chef’s pasta was to die for. The veal Saltimbocca is excellent. They have some great signature cocktails. And a delicious cannoli big enough for 3 or 4 to share. The service was lacking a little but it didn’t ruin the experience.
