    Arrived 25 minutes before booking but we were seated right away which was a good start. Waiting staff were excellent and very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. We ordered the tomahawk steak and when arrived it was cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed the steak and the whole dining experience. Would definitely return when back in Liverpool.

    We visited on Sat evening. The restaurant was extremely busy. Not sure if they had staffing issues but the service was very slow. One meal (full rack of pork ribs) was served raw and returned to the kitchen. We waited 30 mins for the meal to be replaced, when it hadn’t arrived we cancelled the order. In a city with plenty of dining we won’t be returning.

    The only reason the food got two stars was the fact the starters saved it the ribs were burnt to a crisp and drier than anything I’ve am ever tried to eat. The ‘thousand’ layer potatoes weren’t even cooked they were still hard in the middle. The creamed cabbage came with an entire pack of rock salt in it and was inedible just like the ribs. The service was even worse than the food the waitress never even bothered to ask if our food was okay was ignored multiple times when trying to flag someone down to complain about the food and order more drinks and when it came to the bill we were sat waiting for 19 pound change for over 30 minutes and then had to ask the manager what was going on. To then be told we weren’t owed any change they didn’t seem bothered about resolving the matter till we pressed it they were just prepared to not give us our change at the beginning. If anyone was debating going here save yourself some time and money and don’t bother

    Excellent value for money in a very relaxed atmosphere.. all food was absolutely delicious.. good simple wine selection.

    The food was beautiful, steak was cooked to perfection. It would be lovely if you served mashed potato, as I don’t like chips, but the food was incredible. Rhea was the perfect waitress, lovely woman and great at her job.

    We got there a bit early and we were seated. Our first visit to this restaurant. The food was excellent. It was my partners birthday and they surprised us with a glass of bubbly which was greatly appreciated Would definitely recommend as a non main chain steakhouse
