First time dining at Churchill’s. We were seated on time across from the bar and in the room to the Re were three tables of 2-4 people and then two tables of large parties, 10-14. It was sooooo loud we could not hold a conversation. Service was great and the food was delicious, the pies were good as well as the low counter oysters. Please, please, if you are going to seat large parties, fine but do not seat smaller dining groups in the same room.

Such a disappointing experience. We booked Churchill's for brunch to celebrate my birthday and my friend visiting from Australia. We were sat in the back room with a party of 12+, it was so noisy and very distracting and disturbing. Our server was rude from the start. She was abrupt and hostile. We asked for the appetizer to be served with the mains to which she answered "NO!" - when the appetizer was served, she cleared the plate immediately, we said we were not finished and yet she still walked away with the plate. Our side order was wrongly rung in, but she was hesitant to replace it with the item we actually ordered. The table we were sat at was so noisy and the atmosphere was very unpleasant due to the loud party so close by. There were other available tables elsewhere in the restaurant, so it did not make sense that we were seated so close to such a large party. The servers attitude was so awful that I asked to speak to a manager. He said he would talk to her later. The food was just ok. The grits were not good. The waffles had unblended sugar crystals in them and were 'crunchy'. The salad greens were not that fresh. Overall a very very disappointing experience, especially given that it was a special occasion.

A good meal spoiled. We had a reservation at Churchill's for our first visit there, and when we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. (When we left, it was perhaps a third full). We were seated in a room with one other couple who appeared to be finishing their meal. However, the room was set up for a large party (about 25 people), who began arriving just before our entrees were served. They were approximately five feet from our table. Several of the party apologized for their crowd and the noise they were making. The entire group was very respectful, but with that many people, it's bound to be loud. Our server, who was responsible for the entire large party as well, was terrific and also apologized for the disruption. The food and drinks were quite good, but we passed on a second round of cocktails and on dessert in order to leave as soon as we could. In our opinion, this seating arrangement never should have happened if the management and/or front of the house was paying any attention at all. While we like the atmosphere and the food, we'll think twice before dining at Churchill's again.

Table of four the guys who got the burgers said they were good. Salmon meal was ok under seasoned. I had the prime rib which was awful. Over cooked to very well done gravy if that’s what it was was overly salty. Yorkshire pudding was a joke. It was a flat hockey puck which I couldn’t even cut. Not a traditional popover which I have had many time in London. I basically left the whole meal behind The bar is cool. But would never return for dinner. There are so many other amazing options is beautiful Savannah.

Wonderful place with FANTASTIC food! Close to the River and outstanding staff. Crab Cake Benedict with soft poached eggs delighted my “foodie” soul! The ONLY negative, the Rooftop Bar is historic and fun but the views are disappointing.

Our waitress was fabulous and ambience was great! Food, while still good, wasn’t quite up to their usual standards. Overall, was a very pleasant experience!
