Churchill’s Restaurant and Lounge presents new twists on old favorites, featuring local ingredients and prepared to order.

Created by award-winning Executive Chef Dale Nichols, our world-famous Digby scallops are still a resort specialty and a must-try on our new menu. A complete selection of domestic and imported wines is also available.

Whether feasting on our superb breakfast, a Maritime inspired entrée from our dinner menu, or finishing up with one of our delicious deserts, the surrounding views of the Annapolis Basin will provide a feast for your eyes. So, dress up a little and treat yourself to a unique dining experiences, it’s your vacation, after all.

I'm surprised there are not many reviews for this restaurant, honestly it's so under rated. If this restaurant is in Vancouver or downtown Toronto, the cost of each dish could be easily 25% more. Every dish is carefully crafted with fresh ingredients, balanced flavour, and beautiful plating. You can tell the chef is very knowledgeable about different types of cusines and has extensive culinary experience. We loved every dishes from appetizer to dessert. And the service here is awesome too, very attentive but not too much. If I'm a local, I'd definitely come here over and over again. Thanks chef Dale for such a wonderful dining experience!

Clearly this was once a grand place and should be again. But there are changes needed. We could not make a 18h30 booking and booked 18h45 instead. We arrived early at about 18h40 and found only a small handful of people at tables, which made us wonder why 18h30 had been unavailable. The menu is a refreshing change from Digby's usual "fried & oversized" fare. But it was not cooked as well as it could have been. The service was pleasant but very slow. Something is wrong with the organizational side of things. We waited a long five minutes before anyone even approached our table. then another long 15 minutes before our drinks arrived - at which point we quickly got our meal order in, fearing any delay. This place could be great again, but it does need a shake-up. I would suggest a strong experienced manager is needed.

Thank you for a wonderful dining experience this week. Excellent food, presented beautifully and with wonderful service! It was a truly appreciated experience as we travelled around the province for work. We are looking at holding our corporate retreat there in Fall 2021 and will be reaching out to the coordinator.

The food was hugely disappointing. The thanksgiving dinner terrible, penne pasta, Salad with French dressing, potatoe wedges, tough turkey, no cranberry no mash potatoes no pumpkin or apple pie no squash. Terrible dry cake desserts and cupcakes. It was something you’d expect at a 2star motel. No ambiance, couldn’t hear any music just people talking. No decorations not inviting or cozy or quaint just blah 😒

My Cornish hen was burnt and the veggies tasted like hospital food mushy. My boyfriends steak looked steamed and then grilled. Tasted ok..but not appealing.

Food was great, service was fabulous, the overall atmosphere was wonderful. Unfortunately there was a very loud man at the next table using extremely inappropriate language (but this is no fault of the restaurant!) I did find the food just slightly over priced, for what we ordered. The dessert menu was a little disappointing, it did not offer any chocolate option. We opted for the apple cheesecake, it was not what I was expecting but it was good. The wine was a good chilled temperature and the hostess and waitress were both extremely friendly. The (I’m assuming manager) was never far, she was really good at what she did!

Yes overall it was a pleasant experience. I dined with my sisters. We all enjoyed our meals however I was a bit disappointed by the 100 kilometre chicken skewers. I expected chicken breasts but it was boneless thighs and rather tough to chew. A few more vegetables would have been nice. The fish one sister had was very satisfactory and the coquille st Jacques the other sister had got thumbs up.

We had an amazing meal at Churchill's Saturday night. Our server Michelle was so lovely despite it being a very hectic evening. The hostesses were also very gracious and we love to see them pitch in to help the servers. (A sign of good training!) An interesting menu; it made it tough to decide. The food was scrumptious and unfortunately we were too full for dessert. We always love the setting at the Pines and cannot wait for our next visit. Thanks so much.

Excellent food. A fine, varied wine list. Served in an excellent manner by friendly, pleasant, and efficient staff. The view and ambiance added to this fine dining experience. We`ve dined there many times and will do so again.
