    We have been coming here for years and any other time the review would be great including value and food. . For some reason the food vs cost (value) did not meet usual expectations. service was part of overall expectation and it did not meet usual expectations. We have been coming for years and will take this as a one off

    We had a reservation for 7. We arrived 8 minutes early. However, we were told we would have to wait. Multiple tables were seated ahead of us & 30 minutes passed. I asked if we were going to be seated anytime soon because we’d been waiting for 30 minutes. We were told a table was ready for us (go figure, because multiple people were seated ahead of us). We were seated. Once seated, we found that the menu was not what we expected. It was a single page. Only 4 appetizers were offered. The meals were 3 courses otherwise. We waited for our waiter to arrive and then let him know that we would be leaving because we were displeased with the menu. We went home hungry.

    Didn’t know they were having a special menu for Valentine’s Day when I had made reservations. Was not happy with the special menu. Very expensive. Our waiter was not very attentive.  We have been going to Crystal‘s for a very long time very disappointed

    Great experience, very good value and very good food. We celebrated Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful time.

    We very much enjoyed our meal at Christo's! The food was outstanding, and the service was even better. I'm not sure if he was the owner, but we were met by an older gentleman who showed us to our table, asked if we had dined there before, and checked back regularly to monitor our experience. He also saw us out, and thanked us for driving the distance to visit the restaurant. As for the food, it was fresh and prepared to perfection. We had the scampi and a veal dish. The tomato basil soup was delicious as was the lemoncello desset. Christo's is a Phoenix staple, and the owner and management work hard to ensure the high quality food and serrvice. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

    Just an outstanding experience! Our server Bryan and his assistant were perfect - attentive but not overly so. The food was delicious. We had the sea bass with pasta. We were visiting from Tucson but when we get back to Phoenix, definitely on our list! Highly Recommended.

    This was not our first visit to Christo's and based on previous experiences, this visit was up to their usual level of excellence. The restaurant offers both soup and salad prior to the entree. The minestrone was good, but could have been a bit warmer. The salad was generous in size and the house dressing, reminiscent of a ranch, was quite good. The entre Caesar Salad with chicken was large in size and very good. The veal chop was tender with some fat, but not excessive, and generous in size. The side of pasta had a good flavor and was adequate size. The vegetable which was carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower was a very large portion, but unexciting. The veal Genovese with the same sides, was quite good and a very large portion. This was a birthday dinner and the complimentary tiramisu was fresh, creamy, and delicious. Cocktails were generous in size and very modest in price; this place does not overprice its cocktails which is refreshing.
