Dinner with a friend. Waiter excellent manager not so much. Food standard Greek but very tasty.

Food is of poor quality. Meats are dry. Octopus & squid lack flavor. Very disappointed.

Really good meal, great place for dining al fresco too. The mixed souvlaki (beef, lamb, and chicken) was excellent. Amazingly, the chicken was probably the best of the 3 and if I were to go back, I'd get a chicken-only souvlaki. The great thing about the Danforth is that it's really off the beaten path and you get a little closer to how the locals live and dine aside from being near Yonge or Bloor. Service was also attentive and friendly, with the complementary bread and olive oil to boot. Highly recommend and very convenient to the TTC (Chester Station).

We were a party of 6. The service was excellent. The waiter suggested a large platter of Greek appetizers great for a group. There was an excellent choice of grilled whole fish. The whole snapper was delicious as well as the shrimp. The steak and stuffed chicken was also very enjoyable. We finished the meal with Backlava straight from the oven.

Mistakes with our order. Strange serving staff, I ended our meal early and left because I was so annoyed. We didn’t get an appetizer we ordered, the bread basket only had one piece with garlic butter on it and when we asked to have the rest of it buttered they only returned it at the end of our meal. My daughters order was wrong and by the time they fixed it we had all finished our meals. And then they charged us for 3 things we didn’t order. Last time I went here the server passed me the machine to pay and had it set to 20% tip which I thought was presumptuous. I wasn’t impressed.

First, we did have a patio table for our Greek dinner on a beautiful sunny day. Service was excellent. Those are the positives. Sadly, food was not as good as what we have previously experienced on the Danforth, though portions are large. The baked feta was delicious, and then it went downhill. Sagnaki was overcooked and runny, and not served with pita. Octopus was tough, as was the quail. It was disappointing. We will return to one of our previously visited restaurants next time, and perhaps try Christina’s much later.
