Nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Farnham Royal, and just a stone’s throw from Burnham Beeches National Nature Reserve, our 230 year old Inn offers an excellent environment to meet and get together. Our well located, friendly Inn provides a warm and relaxed atmosphere, exceptional service and good quality homemade food made with passion and only the best ingredients. With excellent parking and within easy reach of Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Slough, Heathrow and the M4, we are the Inn for all occasions.

Have eaten there several times under previous ownership. The plus under the previous owner was the option of outside dining which is no longer an option. It was very noisy and considerably more expensive than previous and than local comparable competition. If you want a noisy environment then the recommendation which I have said "No" would become "Yes". I am not impressed by named chefs so it becomes too expensive and it is highly unlikely we will visit again.

Excellent service, very well spoken, clear, friendly, efficient maitre d. A very broad choice of starters, mains, dessets, making the choice difficult. Six guests in this particular party all had excellent meals, lamb on couscous was simply wonderful as was the chicken supeme. The service was well paced. Not our first time, and definitely not our last !

Lunch was cancelled at the last minute as there was a private function, disappointed as OpenTable allowed us to book the day before

Booked an outside table to eat with staff, got there to be told that they no longer serve food outside. Shame as they have a lovely outside section and we used to go there a lot in the summer to sit outside and eat. The classic menu looks nice, however they don’t serve the classic menu on Fridays and Saturdays, and the Friday and Saturday menu is poor. Little to no choice and expensive. £25 for a vegetable lasagne?! This place used to be lovely, now they have tried to turn it too posh, meaning that it always now empty.

I can understand that it was frustrating to learn we no longer serve food on our own large outdoor lawns on weekdays. We have since refurbished and created excellent seating on "The Wisteria Terrace. Thanks for your positive comments about the classics menu. It certainly does offer many options suited to all day dining and is in fact served both Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm until 6pm. I am surprised to hear your feedback regarding the Friday & Saturday Dinner Signature Ala Carte Menu. The menu caters to all including Vegetarian, Vegan & includes options to cater to Gluten intolerance. On Saturdays, we do have a food offering from our Food Truck that you can enjoy in the sun on our lawns on comfortably seated under our stretch tent on the deck enjoying live music between 2pm & 4pm.

Great taster menu, superb food, great service , disappointing wines and their presentation could have been better however Overall a great night and well Worth a visit.
