A unique journey of the unexplored flavours of India, Celebrating over 300 years of Calcutta's historic cuisine. Enter a world of adventurous new ingredients, flavours and cooking method artfully curated by Chef turned restaurateur Anjan Chatterjee.
The appetizers-Prawn Cutlet, Calcutta Fish Fry, Welsh Lamb Chops, Nizam's Malai Tikka, Tangra Chilli Chicken and Lotus stem sweet potato Chaat and in the mains you our signature Tiger Prawn Malai Curry, Kosha Lamb, Chicken Chaap, Dak Bungalow Chicken Curry, Grand Trunk Black Dal and the Calcutta Style Biryanis are a must try.
We are at less than one minute's walk from Marble Arch Tube Station at 3, Old Quebec Street which intersects Oxford Street and Bryanston Street.
Inspired with natural rattan-stained furniture and cream walls, the decor captures the essence of architecture of Calcutta. Also has a lovely, cosy alfresco dining with heaters.

    We would recommend the restaurant. It is expensive and portions need to be in line with the cost of each food item on the menu. Food is excellent. Service a little slow but nice staff and very respectful.

    Another wonderful afternoon well spent with good food and company. Hosts Polash and Manas were charming as usual. The cherry on the top was a rare visit from the owner Anjan Chatterjee. Eternally thankful to him for making this visit special and giving us a piece of Kolkata, which was such a nice gesture. Looking forward to my next visit.

    Frill free and casual fast dining experience. Menu is quite elaborate and providing a run down in the beginning might be helpful. Starters/small bites took about 20-25 minutes to come out which is a bit longer than usual. Food tastes good and fresh. Mains arrived on time and service was generous. Very courteous staff members. The dinning room often smelled like the kitchen and could be worked upon. Overall value is good with an easy in and out meal.

    For the price we expected a bit more ambiance. The service was outstanding though and the food quality was very, very good.

    Service was too slow, I had the tasting menu and I have a mixed opinion. Some dishes were really good, like the chicken, other were not good, I didn't even like the plain rice that was overcooked
