Nice to have this downtown French restaurant/brasserie - efficient service, excellent wine list but not overwhelming, same with food menu. The rainbow trout was delicious - a wonderful blend of flavors, with capers, cauliflower and marinated croutons that pairs well with any of the white wines offered. The linguini with poached lobster came with a pistachio topping that added a nice crunchy texture to the entree. Quality ingredients. Finished with creme brûlée served with berries - we will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my dinner! The trout was light and tasty! It was kind of loud sitting outside (maybe don’t sit at tables close to high street!). My companions liked their food . Just wasn’t anything super special (mussels and salmon). Our server was awesome! Friendly, well informed, and could read the room!

We had our first anniversary here and it was absolutely lovely! Everyone on the service staff was so nice! The drinks and every morsel was packed with flavor. A truely delicious and delightful evening.

Chouette is wonderful! The staff is lovely and the food is delicious. My only complaint is that the leek side dish is way overpriced at $17! It costs around €5 at nice restaurants in Paris

My wife and I had a very nice anniversary dinner at Chouette last night. Drinks and service were very good, special thanks to John who helped us select a nice bottle of wine to pair with our dinner as well as a surprise to enjoy our oysters with. We had oysters that were delicious and a nice Caesar salad. My wife had hanger steak/frites that she really enjoyed. I had the duck breast and leg confit, which I would rate as good not great. I found the leg to be a little too salty and overall the entire dish came out a little cold. Flavors on the duck breast and lentils were good. Overall a really nice experience. All the staff was attentive and worked together. Would definitely recommend.

It's impressive what they did with the renovation of this space, it's a beautiful restaurant now. Ambience is great with the smaller size of the interior and the height of the ceilings. Food was very good, wine list is impressive for old world availability in Ohio. Started with cocktail at the bar and was impressed with service and drinks as well. Will be back!

They use romaine not little gem in the Caesar. I don’t like to be lied to.

Went last night for dinner. The restaurant is beautiful in a great location. The service was impeccable. The food however was good but not great. My husband got the Coq au Vin but it lacked flavor & I had the lobster linguine which was good but wouldn’t order again as I didn’t like it enough to finish it. We did start with the deviled eggs which were excellent! We shared the creme brûlée which was ok at best, we didn’t finish that either even tho this is my favorite dessert. We will be back tho as you should always give a newer restaurant more than 1 try.
