Delicious! I got the trout and it was mouthwatering. The space is very cool and beautiful and the service was impeccable. Great place for a special occasion!

Great food and service. Tables are a bit small due to the fact that the restaurant itself isn’t very big. More or less a typical French bistro feel. We love Chouette and go quite often. Wonderful addition to the Columbus restaurant scene.

Food and service excellent. Noise level is too loud, difficult to hear. Tables seem to be uneven several people asking for tables to be leveled

Coq ah Vin was the best dish out of four. I love a well seasoned dish but the Linguine with lobster was soooo salty my hands were swollen in the morning! Spacing was rather tight on the ground floor. The upstairs was much quieter. But glad I went!

We had a delightful time at Chouette! The building and the space was absolutely gorgeous. The food was also super delicious - highlights being the mussels (that broth! that bread 🥖!), lobster pasta 🦞, and the poached pear for desert🍐. Small critique: we asked our waitress to bring a small table lamp from upstairs to downstairs (where we were sitting) and it made all the difference. Recommend adding these to the downstairs tables, too!

This was the first time visiting Chouette for our anniversary. We were very pleased with our visit. The service was amazing and food delicious. We were seated upstairs which got a little warm and busy as the bathrooms are upstairs so lots of foot traffic. Overall it still got 5 stars and we we’ll return.

pon visiting Chouette I had hoped for a delightful culinary experience, but unfortunately, my visit was marked primarily by mediocrity and unfulfilled expectations. To begin with, the appetizers set a tone of mediocrity, providing an acceptable but far from memorable start to the meal. The steak tartare and cheese selections, while adequately prepared, did little to excite the palate. The onion soup was disappointingly overly salted, overwhelming the intended flavors and making it difficult to enjoy. Moving on to the mac and cheese, I found it lacking any distinct flavor. It was disappointingly plain, prompting me to request salt and pepper from the server in an attempt to salvage the dish. The fries were notably poor, lacking the expected crisp texture and flavor. As for the steak, despite being cooked to the expected level, it arrived at the table regrettably cold, detracting from the enjoyment of what could have been a highlight of the meal. Desserts offered no improvement as they were acceptable but hardly memorable or worth a mention, leaving me with an overall feeling of disappointment. In conclusion, Chouette may cater to those content with a standard and unremarkable meal, but for those seeking a noteworthy dining experience, it falls short. Service was neutral and did not compensate for the culinary shortcomings, making it hard to justify a return visit.

What a great experience! Brad was an engaging and knowledgeable waiter. All aspects of the food was excellent. If you are looking for a place to have a memorable dinner experience this is it.
