Le Chotto Matte rassemble le meilleur des cultures japonaise et péruvienne et sert une cuisine Nikkei de haute qualité et des cocktails colorés. Qu'est-ce que Nikkei ? Il y a des années, des immigrants japonais se sont installés au Pérou pour le travail et ne pouvaient pas trouver leurs ingrédients traditionnels authentiques; c'est pourquoi ils ont utilisé des ingrédients locaux pour les substituer. C'est ainsi qu'est née la cuisine Nikkei. Qu'est-ce que Chotto Matte ? C'est avant tout une expérience. Very loud music playing the whole evening. Was very hard to hold a conversation without shouting. Asked them to lower the volume a bit, they said sure, but didn’t actually do that. Food was pretty great though, especially ceviche and miso black cod

Food and drinks were very good. Mains came out very slow. Service slow at times. Relatively quiet for a Thursday night

The menu is for sharing, we knew this.. But the food turns up at different times, and some of the dishes were not as hot as you may expect. Service and drinks were excellent. Would I go again? Probably not, price for what you get is not the best value

Food and ambience was great but we were a table of vegetarians, all ordering from the vegetarian set menu and were served raw fish instead of the lychee ceviche. When we notified this to the team, they were very unapologetic just stating ‘they look the same’, which was disappointing. Felt like they could have handled the situation differently and an apology would have been welcomed

Great food and great service. We came the week before Christmas, and a few items weren’t available like the karaage and the black cod miso. We had the cod replaced with salmon and the server was great at recommending menu items.
