   The menu is for sharing, we knew this.. But the food turns up at different times, and some of the dishes were not as hot as you may expect. Service and drinks were excellent. Would I go again? Probably not, price for what you get is not the best value

   Food and ambience was great but we were a table of vegetarians, all ordering from the vegetarian set menu and were served raw fish instead of the lychee ceviche. When we notified this to the team, they were very unapologetic just stating ‘they look the same’, which was disappointing. Felt like they could have handled the situation differently and an apology would have been welcomed

   Great for a date or a group setting. All sharing dishes were lovely. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Would recommend

   Great food and great service. We came the week before Christmas, and a few items weren’t available like the karaage and the black cod miso. We had the cod replaced with salmon and the server was great at recommending menu items.

   A hugely disappointing experience for what was supposed to be my birthday celebration. The allergens on the website were incorrect so the set menu I chose was not entirely suitable for my gluten allergy. Furthermore, multiple servers had to reconfirm with the kitchen on 3 occasions if certain dishes were gluten free or not. The waiter then proceeded to put the first course on the table and tell me I couldn’t eat it, the rest of my guests then ate without me. When I then questioned where my food was, I was told that the food they had eaten was actually part of my dinner and was in fact gluten free. No big deal, the kitchen remade me some food. But the night only got worse. Despite the restaurant being pretty quiet the service was so slow. We were assured we had plenty of time (2 hrs) for our menu choice but this wasn’t the case at all. We politely asked for our desserts having had no food on the table for quite some time (these never arrived). After waiting about 20 mins we asked for the bill and told the server we were unable to wait as we had a theatre show to get to despite us having paid for dessert as part of our menu choice. When they bought the bill over, we had someone else’s drinks on our bill - this was the icing on the cake! For the price, the experience was absolutely not up to scratch. The food was tasty but I wouldn’t return.

    Great food and ambience The only grievance I have is right at the end when we got the bill and I paid cash (unusual now I know ) service already on the bill I received the change handed to me. Which I found really odd not on a tray or in a receipt holder etc.
