Chop a été créé pour les gens qui aiment partager, discuter et surtout déguster un steak! Nous sommes fiers d’offrir un menu de source durable et des coupes de bœuf 100 % canadien de qualité supérieure. La viande que nous servons est unique, tout comme notre cuisson. Notre gril Montague offre une température de cuisson jusqu’à 1 800 °F, ce qui permet de créer une croûte savoureuse et parfaite, chaque fois! Nos côtes de bœuf cuisent lentement dans un four à humidité contrôlée, ce qui les rend tendres et délicieuses. Nous apportons le même soin à chacune des boissons et à chacun des plats que nous préparons à la main; de nos options véganes à nos assiettes de fruits de mer. La cuisine gastronomique à portée de tous! Qualité, chaleur et énergie sont au rendez-vous au dîner, au 5 @ 7, au souper et en soirée!

We booked this restaurant for my Mom’s 83 birthday. There was 9 of us. My steak & my Mom’s prime rib were good. The truffle butter was very tasty. Everyone else ordered steak, seafood pasta and salmon. My Uncle’s steak had significant gristle. My Aunt mentioned it to the waitress. She took it to the chef. She came back and said,”That’s not normal to have gristle”. Nothing was done. Another ordered, steak. Her only comment during the meal was potato was good. One ordered salmon, it was very thin and dry. His only comment was,”So so”. The rest ordered seafood pasta. They all said it was not hot, not a lot of flavor and absolutely no crab. The seafood was minimal on the pasta. Overall, most guests were not impressed or pleased with the dinner. It’s unfortunate, we were all looking forward to a nice meal to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. Based on the prices and the ambiance, the food should have been better. Everyone mentioned they will not go back to the Chop Chop Steakhouse. For everyone to mention that after the meal, does not bode well for the restaurant. Nov 10,2024- The manager contacted me today regarding our dining experience. We’ve discussed everything and he apologized. From our discussion and the fact he cared to follow up reveals our experience may have been a one off. We greatly appreciate the follow up and our discussion. We won’t write off The Chop Steakhouse. We will dine at the Chop again and we look forward to a better experience. Thank you.

The food was unbelievable (had steak and lobster and 2 other steak dishes), the steak was done perfectly, deserts were delicious and our server was polite and accommodating. Overall, our expectations were exceded on every level. We definitely will be back. Next time we will try the private dinning for a little different experience. We'll done Chops!

I had the truffle butter steak and it was probably one of the better steaks I’ve had in Edmonton. If I’m in the area I would come again.

Food was impeccable. Service was outstanding. Big thank you to Veronica, our server, for never being M.I.A. but at the same time always being there with perfect timing and not overbearing.

I've eaten here twice now and I Love this place! It's got to be one of the best restaurants in Edmonton if you want a steak or fresh fish. We started with their Steamed Muscles and their Spicey Shrimp. Then we both had the Grilled Halibut this time. I had a filet the last time and everything has been fantastic. Their wine selection is also very good. Our server this time was a sweet young girl and she did a great job.

25th time at the Chop Ellerslie, for birthdays, anniversaries or just appys with other family, all since October 2018. We have NEVER been disappointed. Servers always first rate, friendly, engaging and many remember various family.

Had the soup of the day seafood chowder - on point. No crackers for the soup; mentioned it to the server and apparently I wasn't the only one asking. They assured they would have crackers on my next visit. It's Canada and wintertime - we need crackers for our soup.
