Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

Always a good meal but our French onion soups were burnt on top today.

Un merveilleux moment avec une amie venant de la France en visite pour la première fois au Canada ,elle a beaucoup aimée et il y’avait un service en français pour elle .waouh j’ai beaucoup aimé cette ambiance .Merci beaucoup

Although only my steak was returned 3x before finally asking to no longer try to send one out that is medium well, only 1 of the 5 steaks were on par with what we had actually ordered. The service was slow with bringing water, butter etc… I have been to Chops before and never was so disappointed as I was tonight. Offering salads and deserts is no substitute for someone who needs protein and cannot have sugars. I will not be back or recommend for a long time unfortunately. We kept quiet mostly as it was my daughter’s bday and didn’t want to further affect the mood. I ate a soup, and half a salade. Mashed potatoes and veggies. And still was charged for my drink and soup, coffee. Absolutely unacceptable.

Just another great visit, I try to always get community bread, appy, steak was perfect and the burger is delicious. Tried rice today, was a well seasoned side. Staff were warm and welcoming as always.

I had higher expectations; the food was actually boring and nothing to rave about. A lot of fat on the prime rib, flavourless potatoes and a few carrots and zucchini. High pricing for a mediocre dish.

Busy and popular spot. Sat lounge side this time. Nice cocktail menu with bartenders who know how to make a drink. Was a big beef night for our table, Prime Rib, Rib Eye, sirloin, and house salad with steak. All very nice. Portions are decent but not big--side dishes are moderate and salad appetizer on the small side. But all were good quality and tasty. Ambiance of the place is that it is a hustling and popular venue.
