Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for breakfast, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    Servers were very nice and helpful, but service was slow. All the food was cold and it took a long time to get a drink. We ordered a 2nd, but had to cancel it because we were done our food and still hadn’t gotten the drink. They were very busy and obviously didn’t have the staff to keep up.

    Excellent food and service. I am celiac. They were very knowledgeable and reassuring and even brought me a free gluten free snack to start since it was my first time there.

    What a fantastic meal at Chop. Our server was fantastic and Michael was friendly and welcoming. The steaks were incredible and the sides were had were just as good. This is definitely a place I will return to.

    We had a fantastic dinner and our server Andrea was wonderful. We were celebrating our 1-week marriage anniversary and our first date as a married couple. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great nice. Our food was delicious and dessert was amazing! We definitely recommend Chop Steakhouse for any celebration or event.

    Very busy service marginal our wine came a good 10 minutes after the meal. I ordered a filet medium rare half of it was cooked. Noisy.

    The hostess was extremely welcoming and kind. The server was excellent. Very kind, knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. It took 18 minutes to receive drinks after ordering them. Our food was out about 7 minutes after our drinks were delivered. The server came by and dropped off the kids appetizer prior to getting drinks and said on two occasions “I will check for your drinks”. She was very attentive but maybe the bar didn’t have enough staff? The couple behind our booth was playing their IPHONE loudly listening to something which was very distracting as a family trying to enjoy our dinner with the background music and noise in the restaurant. The food was decent but not worth the value compared to other places worth similar pricing.

    My first visit was raw greasy-shelled lobster, so do not order that, worst meal ever. This time, my 7 oz sirloin steak was more like 5 oz, but the meal overall’s taste was excellent, including dessert. Our waitresses were amazing, personable and fun. So, I would go back.
