Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for breakfast, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    They made my parents feel very special on their anniversary with a card signed by staff as well as a voucher for next time. The food was excellent, the best steak we have had in a long time and they had delicious vegetarian options also. Our server MacKenzie was attentive and charming. We would recommend CHOP highly and will be returning ourselves.

    The server we had was excellent. My brother’s steak wasn’t done the way he likes it so they immediately made it right and brought him a new one. Honestly one of the best service experiences I have had in a restaurant!

    We were greeted,seated , and had cocktails promptly. The blue cheese wedge salad , chicken wings and onion ring appetizers were great. Main courses were delicious. Prime rib and beef filet always a big hit with us. The new pork chop tomahawk was a nice addition. Veggies were great.

    What a delightful experience we had! From first warm greeting by Jeremy the host to our final farewells from our server Mackenzie, all was enjoyable. I booked the reservation from D.C. based on reviews and the meal did not disappoint. Starters: Korean bbq shrimp cocktail and French onion soup. Delicious. Mains: halibut and cod. Fresh, tasty preparations. Tidal Bay white wine was perfect with our meal and a first taste for us. Will order more during the rest of our trip in the Maritimes. Thank you Chop! Well done.
