Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for breakfast, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    Fabtabulous service from Reese (sp)..lovely server who was the whole package from intro to how steak was cooked through to the cappuccino! Excellent food, nice facility and the service....amazing!

    We were greeted,seated , and had cocktails promptly. The blue cheese wedge salad , chicken wings and onion ring appetizers were great. Main courses were delicious. Prime rib and beef filet always a big hit with us. The new pork chop tomahawk was a nice addition. Veggies were great.

    What a delightful experience we had! From first warm greeting by Jeremy the host to our final farewells from our server Mackenzie, all was enjoyable. I booked the reservation from D.C. based on reviews and the meal did not disappoint. Starters: Korean bbq shrimp cocktail and French onion soup. Delicious. Mains: halibut and cod. Fresh, tasty preparations. Tidal Bay white wine was perfect with our meal and a first taste for us. Will order more during the rest of our trip in the Maritimes. Thank you Chop! Well done.

    The dishes leaving the kitchen were missing items, sauce, egg, horseradish, that were ordered or on the menu. The beef ordered rare was closer to medium well. Rice hard and cold. The server and manager had the correct request taken care of quickly. Thank you to them.

    Our server was fantastic, truly a remarkable job from her in terms of item description, prompt service, and general conversation. We ordered the burger and New York centre cut, IT WAS SO GOOD! My husband received a free desert for his birthday and we were given a welcome snack for being there for the first time. We will be back :)
