Situé dans le prestigieux Sutton Place Hotel, au cœur du centre-ville, le restaurant est un vrai steakhouse contemporain. Le personnel réunit tout ce que les clients les plus exigeants aiment à propos du vin et de la nourriture et les combine avec énergie, style et valeur. Tous les steaks sont du bœuf Angus certifié et sont âgés d'au moins 28 jours, et le chef de cuisine Stephen Clark a créé un choix somptueux de plats de poisson en utilisant des fruits de mer sélectionnés dans les poissonneries locales de la côte ouest. Le restaurant propose également des pains artisanaux et des desserts hors du commun. Leur engagement à l'égard des vins de qualité du monde entier est représenté sur leur vaste carte de vins, assemblés par le sommelier Kim Spence.

We returned here after we moved away 5 years ago as this was our go to in Edmonton . Our server Joe was excellent and very pleasant. Unfortunately when our food finally arrived it was not hot and some of it was cold. When asked about the food we let our server know it was on the colder side of warm and were offered a return. Due to our time commitment at the PBR we thanked her but needed to eat. The manager was kind enough to comp our meals for which we were thankful. I believe this was a one of and would still recommend Chop as the service has always been great and the food was tasty. As usual customer service made a difference.

Went before hockey game took ten minutes to ask for drinks,bloody caesar was mainly ice no Clamato, mussels were cold and very small , Crab cakes were terrific!

My steak was literally cooked perfectly and it was so delicious. Enjoyed the food very much and the service was great too!

We went for lunch to celebrate my girl friend, Emil's bday and noted that on the reservation. We got there and our hostess, server and bartender all wished her a happy birthday, plus they had a birthday card for her signed by the staff members, and the literal icing on the cake was the complimentary blueberry cheesecake after our meal. Amal was so kind and sweet and amazing, she constantly checked in without hovering. Chop is now my go to place for a sit down lunch! Thanks again Chop!

The music was really loud to talk and visit over dinner. Also, I ordered the cauliflower mash and it was horrible. Not everyone likes chimmicury flavor. Or at least post it on the menu. I was disappointed with that.
