Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

We were visiting from Toronto and wanted to eat steak and it was the best! They had a special steak platter with 3 different types of steak and it was delicious. The service was amazing and the restaurant is very cozy.

Food quality was substantially better than the other standard restaurant chains. A bit of a premium but definitely worth the additional cost. Service was friendly and efficient without being robotic. I appreciated the absence of "how are the first few bites" Hard to beat the location on a sunny afternoon.

I so did not want gravy all over my steak!! Would have asked for on the side if I knew.

Great service and good food. We ate outside which meant a little more noise but it was great people watching.

It was a nice restaurant, the service and severs were wonderful, the menu was underwelming, and the prices were well in line with the rest of the world. I had a the roasted Halibut and it was about a 3 out of 5. The appetizers were too salty, not sure about drinks no omelette had one.

Service and setting was great. My wife was offered a slice of cake for her birthday which was a great surprise.

Went to Chop for our anniversary. We were there last year for my husband's birthday. They go above and beyond to really make your special day a memorable one. We used our complimentary goat cheese and mushroom dip. It was so flavorful. I ordered Crab Linguine and husband ordered the Chop Burger. They were delicious. It was happy hour at the time and I ordered Southern Hospitality drink. It was sweet but delicious. For the dessert, we had complimentary choice of the mini desserts they offer. We ordered creme brulee and the chocolate torte. They took the time to even decorate the plate "HAPPY Anniversary" on it. Then to cap it off, the staff had a card for us signed by them. Definitely felt special. Will recommend this place for sure. Our server was great. She recommended few things for us as well regarding food and drinks. However I think she was busy most of the time serving other tables, that took little longer to try to catch her whenever we needed something. Overall good.
