This used to be our favorite place for a nice dinner. They’ve changed the menu within the last couple months and the whole experience feels like it’s gone down hill. Before we used to get bread and butter to start (can’t remember if it was complimentary), we weren’t offered it this time. They replaced mashed potatoes with rice pilaf. What steakhouse doesn’t have mashed? I was excited for their broccolini until it came out with globs of pre shredded cheddar cheese and it was microwaved so long the broccolini was tough. The steak was still phenomenal but all in all the dinner was fair. Sadly we probably won’t be back.

Valentine's night with only a set menu available. I know they were busy but it was clear that the food was pre-cooked and sitting under warming lights a long time. Oysters Rockefeller were cooked hard. My fish was good but my husband's filet was not prime beef and tough $92, veggies and potato DOA. Would try again with reg menu tho just to see HAS POTENTIAL TO BE GOOD

We went to Chop for Valentine’s Day with friends. The menu was superb. Excellent service (Matthew). We really enjoyed our evening.

NEVER order that Halibut, 2 of us ordered it and it was dry as my humor. My mistake because the steaks are awesome. Service is spectacular

Excellent steak and lobster dinner, service was excellent and friendly. Thought it was odd they charge for four slices of bread for the table, but if you don’t really want it just say no thanks when they ask. But overall a good dinner experience.

Attended with work colleagues. Excellent meal and drinks. Our server was outstanding and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere - fine dining without being too stuffy.

My husband and I had reservations here on Sat. Feb. 1. We arrived early and grabbed a seat at the high top open seating area. We were greeted by Matt, who took our drink order. Matt was attentive and consistently checked up on us while we waited for our table. After we were seated, we were told that our server would be Jaelynn. We watched as Jaelynn greeted and served other guests, including a table next to us, and overlooked us. Not sure if this was because of our race or because of our age. We debated leaving because of how long we were left sitting at the table without even a simple “hello, I’ll be right with you” Finally, Jaelynn arrived to take our order. She was blunt and rude and simply stated “I’m sure Matt told you I would be coming to take your order. So, what do you want.” We weren’t asked if we wanted soft drinks or anything other than water. My husband and I both ordered filets. I ordered a side of broccolini, which was under cooked and difficult to eat. My husband ordered a side of Brussel sprouts which primarily consisted of cooked onions and a few brussel sprouts. I ordered my filet medium rare, my husband’s medium. The restaurant was so dark that neither of us could tell that our steaks had been swamped until the end of the meal. The manager noticed my husband did not like the brussel sprouts and offered a free dessert. At this point, after being ignored all night and incredibly disappointed in the food, we wanted to leave. We asked to take the dessert to go and were told the dessert we chose could not be taken to go. Jaelynn insisted the Brussels sprouts would be taken off the check, yet when we received the check, nothing was taken off. Incredibly disappointed to have spent money on a babysitter so we could enjoy a child free evening only to spend $200 on a lack luster meal with awful service. We will not be returning. 2 stars because Matt provided excellent service. The best part of the night was the Italian ice we got from Jeremiah’s.
