First time. Local Sloans Lake resident. Food is great and different! Soup dumplings, fried wontons and sweet/sour pineapple fried rice. Good portions. Best night atmosphere on Sloans, inside or patio.

Our server and anyone who delivered door was very knowledgeable. Food was delicious!! Had soup dumplings amd potstickers that were great. Pad Thai, Malaysian noodles and Pork belly noodles were all absolutely excellent!!

We ate on the patio last night- across from a lovely lake. we started with both dumplings - soup dumplings -both delicious one was chicken with a chili. The other was French onion soup -amazing. We had a salad with ginger dressing yummy, pear, roasted vegetables, carrot and cabbage sadly the little bits of veggies tasted like they were in the fridge for too long-It was ok-next we had the star of the evening pad Thai with a lemongrass brittle sweet buttery and a pure essence of lemongrass -only problem with this dish there wasn’t enough of the brittle - We had skewers of salmon, chutneys and lettuce leaves to wrap it all in was very yummy -service was fabulous, but we happened to be next to a DJ and he could’ve brought the volume down a little bit. We could barely hear each other and it was like being in a club versus eating modern Asian food -that was a little disjointed for me eventually, he brought it a little bit down to some funky jazzy music, which we liked a lot. It was more conducive to dining -all in all fabulous food -great service and a lovely evening .

The best soup dumplings you could ever dream of — french onion always. And on top of that, the best atmosphere, staff and energy. A go-to spot me & my girlfriends have on regular rotation!

My spouse and I had dinner here while on vacation. We ordered the soup dumplings, pork belly bao buns, shrimp & chicken shumai, wagyu beef skewers, pork belly stir fry noodles, and 5-spice doughnuts with Vietnamese coffee ice cream. Everything was delicious! The mocktails were also excellent, and Lily was a fantastic server. Highly recommend eating at Cholon - Sloan's Lake!

We live several blocks away and we really enjoyed our time at Cholon SL. The selection and variety of cuisine was amazing as we shared 6 different dishes. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Loved our dining experience at Cholon, Sloan’s Lake! The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, especially the soup dumplings and the bao buns. Can’t wait for a return visit.

**Update** The manager kindly refunded our meal, and took great care of us in the aftermath of this experience. The soup dumplings are amazing, so we will be back for those (just not 4 orders of them!) A friend and I went to dinner, and we ordered soup dumplings. We wanted to try both flavors so asked if we could get 2 of each in the order. Our waiter ended up bringing us 4 orders of dumplings! $60 worth. We literally wanted one order with 2 of each flavor. He provided a small discount (took a $16 app off of our bill). We never intended on ordering 4 orders of dumplings. The noodle dish was ok, not great hardly any meat in it, seemed like a lot of filler. We had the banh mi flatbread, it was also just ok. We loved both types of dumplings, but again, felt the misunderstanding should have been in the hands of the wait staff. Our meal ended up being $125, which was over the top for apps and one entree.
