Chives Restaurant Door County is located in Downtown Baileys Harbor. Inspired by owner, JR Schoenfeld, Chives continues its reputation for food quality, presentation and value. Chives in Baileys Harbor offers choices for everyone. Farm to Table culinary experience utilizing fresh, seasonal and local ingredients, some of which are grown on property by our Chef, Brady Miner and owner, JR Schoenfeld.

This is our favorite Door County restaurant. It is a cozy spot, with great service, drinks and food. We are fortunate to live nearby, and visit as often as we can.

Another wonderful meal at probably our now favorite Door County restaurant. John, our server, is always so attentive and pleasant. The food here is amazing from appetizers to desserts. For a salad, the Lyonnaise is probably the best I have had anywhere. The acidity of the dressing just sets the whole thing off! We enjoyed our Razor Clam appetizer immensely and both entrees. I don’t usually do Fish Fry meals, but if you’re going to have one, have it here! The pastry chef is a goddess and always has the most amazing offerings. Thanks again!

Carlton was delightful and knowledgeable. The maple old fashioned is worth going back, as is the baked onion soup. The aged beef, evening special for $130, served two. It was just average in that it was lacking flavor/seasoning and was very over priced for the cut. The vegetables served alongside were absolutely delicious and fresh. Desserts were also delicious. We will return but won’t be ordering that steak.

As usual Chives hit it out of the park. Good and service wonderful. They have the best frites and the steaks were perfect
