We had a lovely evening in the outdoor area. Our dinners were terrific. Great ambiance. Service was a bit slow…but overall a nice time. It’s the experience right? Def on a fave list!

Our food is always fantastic here! Our server, Stephon, was awesome! Chives is one of top spots in DC. Looking forward to our next dinner!

We started our dinner with cocktails and escargot. The drinks were both good, but the escargot was tasteless. We mentioned this to our server and he said he would let them know it the kitchen. He apologized again later in evening, but they did not do anything to make it right. Our dinner was a ribeye, fries and salad, all of which were very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very energetic, warm & cozy, which we really enjoyed. One other complaint we had was that the bathrooms were not the cleanest ~ they could have used a sprucing up halfway through the evening. Overall, we liked the restaurant and will go back, but definitely won’t order the escargot again.

Great food with some very nice specials. Haley made some wonderful recommendations and was a very fun and helpful wait staff. Overall, a lovely evening.

A favorite Door County restaurant! We are never disappointed in the quality of the food. The service is excellent, even when they are super busy during the ‘peak’ season up here.
