One of Pawleys Islands most popular dining destinations is Chive Blossom Restaurant & Bar. Shaded by signature Lowcountry live oaks, the establishment is owned and operated by Paul Kelly and Trina Renualt, culinary professionals who combine their skills to create Southern classics with flair as well as delicious dishes with Mediterranean, French and Asian influences.

Incredible soups are a mainstay; Trina’s crab soup is local legend and not to be missed. All soups are offered in sips to a quart. Enjoy a taste, or take home a bounty! Choose from a variety of speciality salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. Only the freshest ingredients are used, and the menu changes seasonally to take advantage of the locally sourced seafood, meats and produce.

It truly amazes me how incredible this restaurant is and remains over the years I have been coming here. It is a destination for the food, service, and ambiance - such an ill kept secret judging by the crowds - a good problem to have for sure.

Fresh, delicious plates and cocktails with excellent presentation. Dessert was fabulous! Charming outdoor patio under the beautiful southern live oak trees makes for a delightful dinner spot.

Only issue I had was the excessive reminders, confirm request 2 or 3 times, fourth reminder that said “are u coming” 25 minutes before requested time, that my table was ready!! I replied that my reservation was 7:00pm!!! I know there are bad actors out there, but most are valid requests. You should figure out how to harass the bad guys from experience, and not frustrate the majority. No charge for this feed back on your software!😅

Everything lived up to the hype! The soup was delicious, appetizers, entrees, desserts and cocktails, totally awesome all around! The service was excellent, friendly, prompt and very welcoming. We loved she atmosphere and vibe, we can’t wait to come back and try more menu items!

Great new gin drink, pain killer. Seafood fresh and cooked perfectly. Loved our waitress. Love this place. We will be back.

Chive Blossom is not what it used to be. Although the menu could use a refresh as it hasn’t changed in years. Our entrees were heavily spiced with too much pepper, making them practically inedible. The cocktails were good but wine prices by the bottle have gone way up. Overall a disappointing experience. We used to look forward to dining here when we visited Pawley’s but we won’t be back unless we hear something has changed.
