We enjoyed our first time visit. We will definitely be back, my halibut fish tacos were out of this world amazing and My Husband fillet was superb and cooked perfectly. See you soon.

Excellent service and food in a charming space. We came in late on a Sunday evening and all the staff were very welcoming. My husband ordered the sirloin which was a large portion and cooked to order. His sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli with cheese sauce were delicious. I had the crab and artichoke ravioli, which was also great. We are looking to stopping again when we travel through Salem.

Excellent service from Yelena. Had the halibut fish tacos, delicious, and their lemon cream shortcake for dessert is fabulous. Love Chira’s, eaten here many times, never disappointed.

Celebrating my birthday, enjoyed their halibut fish and chips, which I have had before, always excellent. Their French fries and Cole slaw are also delicious. The service was great, the in house prepared complimentary dessert was a real treat. Lemon cake w/ fresh strawberries and whipped cream. This is a lovely location, my favorite Salem restaurant.

There were not enough servers and they were busting it but the service was delayed. Food was amazing. Felt bad for the staff just wasn’t enough of them.

I have been to Chira’s 4 times now. My initial experience several months ago was excellent . The last 3 times, just very average. Most of our parties dishes were overcooked. Service was marginal and I just expected it to be as good as my first experience. Sadly it hasn’t been. Rolls are excellent though! Cocktails were also very good! Food needs to get back to what is was previously.

My pasta was great. Partner’s steak was not cooked and blue in the inside. Bartender said can try throwing it in the oven and see if it would cook more, but would not remake. Expensive dinner for him to not even eat food as he didn’t want to get sick. Ended up going to different restaurant afterwards since he didn’t eat.
