The Sweet and sour pork is a bit tough to chew. I expected that to be more tender. However, the rest of the food was really lovely.

Food was really lovely and nicely presented but quite expensive given the very small portions provided. Not somewhere to go if you are hoping for Chinese dishes like sesame prawns on toast, crispy seaweed etc - very refined menu. Staff were friendly and efficient when you could actually get the attention of a waiter/waitress. We had to walk over to someone to get the bill despite us having our coats on. They could have done with an extra person on the shift and more attention paid to patrons in terms of scanning the room.

DimSum Weekend is a must-try. Located in a very nice location. Convenient and quiet in the weekend. Friendly staff.

The service was great. The food is what let this restaurant down. We ordered the business set menu. It's £14.99 and we added £40 for half peking duck with pancakes. I don't really think their twist on the pineapple slices to go with the duck was necessary. It's good to stick with just authentic Chinese food sometimes instead of making it all fusion. I know it's really cheap for £14.99 + £40 half duck, but I guess it also reflects on the quality of the food as really not very impressive at all. The food was bland, not much flavour. The food did not arrive piping hot. It seems like everyone ordered the business lunch so they were mass producing it and some dishes arrived cold. The sweet and sour chicken was ok, portion was small. The beef was bland also. The duck pancakes arrived cold but we didn't bother complaining. The mango dessert was the only thing that tasted nice but it was way too big. If I was designing the menu, I would serve a smaller mango pudding and include a cup of coffee or tea. Overall, the restaurant was clean, ambience was alright... not super cozy or anything. The staff were friendly and attentive.Cannot fault the service... just the food was so mediocre, I would not recommend to friends. We spent £85 in total and could have had a massive meal and much tastier somewhere in Chinatown. Hopefully, the chef will take this as constructive and change their menu offering.

I used to have business lunches at CCC frequently pre-COVID and found it comparable to London's top Chinese restaurants. This was my first time back since it re-opened and I found it rather disappointing. The front of house team has changed and I think the kitchen team has as well. Menu favourites such as the garlic and soy green beans have gone and the prices drastically bumped up. We ordered the fixed price business lunch and topped up with 3 or 4 additional dishes. It's not usually a good sign when sweet and sour chicken was the most enjoyable dish. Most disappointing was the expensive Wagyu Beef Dumpling, which was stone cold in the middle and had clearly just been reheated without any love or attention. The venue is nice and relaxed still - perfect for business lunches. I just wish they had brought back the previous kitchen and FOH team.

The occasion is for my birthday and we mentioned that in the booking. We didn't expect there would be a surprise birthday cake from the restaurant. The service is brilliant and the staff are very nice.
