Yucatán raised, Mexican born Chef Jorge Guzmán has dedicated his life to perfecting the flavors of the Mexican cuisine he was raised with, but presenting them in a way that is unique & unexpected. Chilango is the culmination of his culinary journey & his love letter to Mexican cuisine & culture. Guzmán's distinguished career has earned him national recognition, including being named as a James Beard Award Finalist & featured in the New York Times.

Intuitive and knowledgeable staff. Both appetizer and entree were quite delicious. Would highly recommend and looking forward to going again.

Good food, great drinks, good service, beautiful setting. High noise level and very low lighting will pose challenges for anyone aged 40+.

Our first visit to Chilango exceeded our expectations. ‘More than worth the trip from SE Apple Valley. Besides the fabulous food and wine pairings, it felt good to support their special fundraising event. We look forward to attending the next monthly-scheduled ones.

Great food and wine pairing; however, waited 10-15 minutes after getting seated before server came to our table and that was after we made an inquiry.

It was a special event, so I can’t speak for the regular menu. But the event food was delicious from start-to-finish. If I’d have changed anything, it’d been two oysters each and one fewer slice of brisket. The oysters were such a surprising bite, I wish we’d have had a chance to re-experience them. Greatly appreciated was the noise level. There was background music, but that’s what it was: background, creating ambiance. As one who struggles to separate sounds in noise, it was so pleasant to be able to relax in conversation with my tablemates. Thank you for that!

Service was great and I was noce to be able to hear each other without yelling. Appetizers of chips and brussels sprouts were wonderful and choco taco dessert was amazing. However our main choice of the platter was very disappointing. The chicken was bland, the shrimp was tough, the sausage wasn't tasty, the beef was too tough to cut or chew, and the guacamole was miniscule.
