This restaurant was a bummer. Cool concept, fun vibe, and the ramen was delicious. However, the restaurant was so poorly managed that we will not be returning. Almost everything that can go wrong with service went wrong and it was also pretty expensive. So we cannot recommend. Details below: 1. We had a reservation for a party of 4 for 8:30 pm. We arrived at 8:32, and noticed that 4 walk in customers had just been seated at a 4 person table. When we checked in, there was immediate panic, and we are pretty sure that someone accidentally seated the walk ins at our table. We waited a half hour to be seated. 2. Once we were seated we ordered gyozas, 4 ramens, and 4 drinks. We ordered one ramen with extra meat, and the rest with egg. The person bringing out food seemed to be generally confused about what was going on. He would bring out bowls bounce between tables asking what they had ordered, and generally seemed to have no idea where he was gong. 3 of our ramens came out at once, one missing the extra meat (2 were correct). After ~10 minutes, our waitress came by to check in, and we told her we were still waiting on the 4th ramen. We also mentioned the missing meat but said it was fine as long as we didn't get charged for it. About 10 minutes later, another ramen was delivered but it was not the right order. After another 5 minutes, the correct one showed up. 3. At the end, the bill showed up and we were overcharged by $28. We had been charged for the extra meat add on even though we never got it. We had also been charged for the most expensive sake, instead of the cheaper one that we ordered. The waitress seemed pretty annoyed by this, but did correct it. Given the long wait/messed up reservation, wrong orders, forgotten order, and overcharging, we were hoping they would comp our drinks or appetizer. But they never offered anything and didn't really seem to care at all. So overall: good kitchen, terrible management.

Delicious bao buns, ramen, poke bowl and hand rolls!! Creative cocktails. We will be back - a funky place.

The food and service was excellent. The back room with larger tables was very warm and loud (speakers) but the staff were very accommodating and opened the door to let in some air.

80s neon meets 50s coffee shop. dim lit, hard to read menu, noisey/boomy space. Music was eclectic modern pop sound. Service OK. Food was quite good. The ice cream medalions were not very good. I do not recommend. frozen hard, and my guess, sitting in freezer for a while.

This is a very cool looking restaurant! The ambience was the best thing about the dining experience. This is a basement restaurant with an open kitchen, so it got very very hot during our meal. We could feel the AC trying to work, but it just could not compete with the heat from the kitchen. It was so uncomfortably hot that I could not wait to get out of there. The food and service were OK, but nothing to rave about. We had the tofu, which was tasty, but they sat the fried tofu in a pool of dashi broth. I had to save the tofu from drowning and put it on a side plate in order to enjoy the crispiness. We also had the eel, cucumber, and avocado hand roll, but unlike regular hand rolls that come as a kind of cone, this roll had the tiniest piece of nori that was never going to hold the rice and fillings. It was an absolute mess to eat. However, the taste of the eel was exceptional. We also had the daily special - Chicken Katsu Curry with Udon Noodles - this was a very generous portion with a mildy spicy curry sauce. The katsu was cripsy and juicy and the noodles were well cooked, but it lacked any kind of WOW factor. Finally, my $13 gin and tonic was not good and I didn't even finish it. The one server was working all of the tables in the main dining room and he was working his butt off so much that he could not refill water until asked. Overall the cumulative experience was just underwhelming and we probably will not be back.

I can’t wait to go back! The food was just fantastic. Service was amazing and personable. Great variety of food and they were all large portions!! The atmosphere is just unmatched. Got the best seat in the house by booking early ;) HIGHLY recommend!!!

This was a beautiful and intimate setting. The neon light seating offered an ambiance unlike other ramen establishments I’ve visited. The rich and authentic broth flavoring the noodles was truly warming. Hands down an amazing experience. I plan to visit again soon.
