The service was slow and the waiter was bit unprofessional with his corny jokes. I have brought my wife here before and always picked this and sister location for holidays dinner, but yesterday experience left a unforgettable experience.

CPI is a great restaurant for all your dining needs; celebratory, business, date night or sitting at the bar for a drink and dinner. The service is outstanding and the food is prime with a menu serving all ages (great children’s menu) and tastes. They offer outside dining on their cozy patio and have live music in the bar along with two TV’s for sports fans.

Chicago Prime Italian offers a great dining experience that left us impressed. The large, convenient parking lot made arriving easy, and inside, the fully stocked center bar caught our attention. The live music from the pianist and vocalist added a pleasant touch to the evening. The modern color-changing wine displays provided a nice contrast to the classic Chicago Prime Italian look. We started with a generous bread basket served with oil and Parmesan, a satisfying way to kick off the meal. The Sausage & Pepper dish, with sautéed tri-color organic peppers in a garlic white wine sauce, was packed with flavor. The roasted Brussels sprouts, drizzled with balsamic glaze on request, quickly became a favorite at our table. The Caesar salad was fresh, with crisp romaine, Parmigiana, croutons, and the anchovies I added for a traditional taste. For the main courses, the Chicken Marsala was served steaming hot, with a mushroom Marsala wine sauce that paired well with the garlic mashed potatoes, which were the standout part of the dish. The Meat Lasagna, with its rich marinara, layers of imported artisan cheese, and Bolognese, tasted homemade and full of flavor. Overall, Chicago Prime Italian is a solid choice for anyone looking for a high-quality meal with a great atmosphere and attentive service.

This place consistently delivers an unbelievable experience. From the cocktails to the food and service. This was our third time at this location and never disappoints. Service: always helpful but not rushing you or hovering. Very nice and genuine folks. Drinks. We started with a Prime Boulevardier which was awesome and an Old Fashioned. Equally well made. We had Cesar salads that weren't too large like so many places. Dinner tonight was the Veal Ossso Buco and the Chicken Vesuvio. Both dishes were really amazing. The Osso Buco is a bit on the hearty side but taste like Nonna made it for days. So perfect. So many places don't figure out how to make Vesuvio properly. Dry or not flavorful. This was genuinely the best I've had in years. The desserts were unbelievably fresh. We actually split the sampler and too half home. I'd do that again. A perfect evening where the owner, Andy stops by and makes you feel like an old family friend. He's one of a kind in good way. Can't wait to make it back.

Kind of a mixed review. Things started out well - seated promptly, server came and introduced himself and gave us time to settle in. We ordered. Three of the four entrees were delicious, but the fourth - the brick chicken - was way over seasoned to the point it was just not tasty at all. We ordered desserts. Twenty minutes later, after not getting them, we flagged down a bus boy and asked him about it. He came back with a dessert menu. We told him we didn't need a menu, we needed what we ordered. A few minutes later our server returned with the desserts and a kind of trite, "Oh, sorry for the delay." The experienced was just not up to what we've been used to at this Restaurant.

We sat outside the weather was beautiful ! The special pork chop was GREAT ! The chicken Marsala came out cold and had to be sent back . The red sauce is generic and can tasting ! Food quality was poor .. they offered a big 6 dollar discount ..
